A Fresno, California mom who beat cancer twice lost her life one day after having twins.

Jamie Snider, 30, beat cancer once and lost an ovary. So when she found out she was pregnant with twins, she was overjoyed. Then she found out that the cancer came back. Throughout the pregnancy Snider had chemotherapy treatment, and beat it once again. The day before the twins were born, Snider shared on Facebook that God got her through it all.

“Tomorrow will be a great day,” she wrote. “God has been by my side the whole time. All your prayers and love have kept me going as well. Wish me luck. I’m having a C-section at 7 and then a radial hysterectomy right after. I’ll be fine. Thank you, God, for keeping me positive through all the hard times.”

Snider made it through the surgeries but died the next day of heart failure. 

Snider’s friend Larina Campanile said that she has peace that Snider held the babies and spent time with them. Family members said that twins Camila and Nico are tiny but healthy.
