Joy Break: ‘When God Calls You for Help, You’re Supposed to Help’

By Nancy Flory Published on June 16, 2018

When we turn on our television or smart phones we’re bombarded with news that brings us down. Where are all the good stories? They’re still there. Here’s one that we hope will bless you.

Recently a woman’s electric wheelchair lost all power. Instead of passing her by, a Facebook user by the name of Gifted King stopped to help. He pushed her a mile back to her home. He explained why he did it in a video.

“I don’t care what you’re going through, when God calls you for help, you’re supposed to help. Period. Ain’t no ifs ands or buts, I don’t care what you’re going through personally, when He stops you to tell you to help, you’re supposed to help, period.”

On Facebook, Gifted King posted, “God’s Plan. God’s Work. Her battery gave out and she didn’t no how she was getting home. God blessed me with a able  body. So WE pulled her home. A mile or not I wouldn’t go home until she was home. Period.”
