Joy Break: Andrea Bocelli Ends Easter Concert With Hymn Amazing Grace

By Nancy Flory Published on April 13, 2020

When we turn on our televisions or smart phones we are bombarded with news that brings us down. Where are all the good stories? They’re still there. Here’s one that we hope will bless you.

Italian opera singer, songwriter and record producer Andrea Bocelli gave an Easter concert yesterday in Milan’s Duomo cathedral.

“On the day in which we celebrate the trust in a life that triumphs, I’m honored and happy to answer ‘SΓ’ to the invitation of the City and the Duomo of Milan,” Bocelli said at the beginning of the concert. “I believe in the strength of praying together. I believe in the Christian Easter, a universal symbol of rebirth that everyone, whether they are believers or not, truly needs right now.”

He concluded with a heavenly performance of the beloved hymn “Amazing Grace.” If you missed it yesterday, please don’t miss it now.
