James Robison to Speak at Liberty University Graduation Events

By Al Perrotta Published on May 12, 2017

President Donald Trump will be delivering his first commencement address as President tomorrow at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Va. He will be joined by nearly 19,000 graduates, a horde of national media and Stream publisher and co-founder James Robison.

Rev. Robison will be the featured speaker at this evening’s Baccalaureate Service before delivering the benediction and “sharing a brief charge” in tomorrow’s ceremony.

In a Facebook post Thursday, Rev. Robison asked for our prayers as he prepares to speak to Liberty graduates, parents, and friends.

Rev. Robison recalled his deep connections to Liberty University and its founder, Jerry Falwell: “I have many great memories with the late Dr. Jerry Falwell as we prayed and trusted God together from the birth of the vision for Liberty until the mountain was secured and buildings began going up.” That vision continues today with Falwell’s son, Liberty President Jerry Falwell, Jr.

The Baccalaureate Service, which will be streamed live here, takes place at 6 pm ET Friday. The Commencement featuring President Trump’s address will take place at 10 am ET on Saturday. It will streamed live here. The president’s address is also expected to be carried live on the nation’s cable news networks as well.

The Stream will be covering both events. I will also be tweeting live from Lynchburg tonight and tomorrow at @StreamingAl and @streamdotorg.

Again, we ask your prayers for the President and our publisher James Robison, and hearty congratulations for the graduates of Liberty University.
