How Can the Church Confront a Sinful Culture?

Part One of My Conversation With Pastor Shane Idleman

By James Robison Published on March 2, 2020

This past week, I had the pleasure of sitting down with Pastor Shane Idleman to discuss how we as believers can have a Kingdom impact on a culture that increasingly rejects God and His wisdom. Shane pastors a church in the often-hostile territory of Southern California. He encourages us to maintain a balance of boldness and humility:

“I see a lot of pride and self-righteousness in the church … We’ve got to hold to truth boldly, but it has to come from a loving, compassionate heart or it actually falls on deaf ears.”
