Hillary’s Closest Aide, Huma Abedin, Worked to Spread Radical Islam

Will the next White House Chief of Staff be linked to sponsors of terrorism?

Media have finally deigned to notice a profound threat to American security that conservatives have been trying to air for many months: the deep family, personal, and religious ties which Hillary Clinton’s closest aide and friend, Huma Abedin, has forged to radical, intolerant Islam, the same version of Islam that produced Osama bin Laden and ISIS. Sounds like some nutty conspiracy theory, right? Except that the facts are all there in black and white, going back many years. Only cowed or biased media have managed to keep them out of our notice till now.

As Paul Sperry of The New York Post has reported:

Hillary Clinton’s top campaign aide, and the woman who might be the future White House chief of staff to the first female US president, for a decade edited a radical Muslim publication that opposed women’s rights and blamed the US for 9/11.

During Abedin’s term as editor, the journal published

“Women’s Rights Are Islamic Rights,” a 1996 article [which] argues that single moms, working moms and gay couples with children should not be recognized as families. It also states that more revealing dress ushered in by women’s liberation “directly translates into unwanted results of sexual promiscuity and irresponsibility and indirectly promote violence against women.” In other words, sexually liberated women are just asking to be raped.

Sperry further notes that in a

January 1996 article, Abedin’s mother [wrote]: “‘Empowerment’ of women does more harm than benefit the cause of women or their relations with men” … while forcefully arguing in favor of Islamic laws that have been roundly criticized for oppressing women. … “Among all systems of belief, Islam goes the farthest in restoring equality across gender,” she claimed.

[Abedin’s mother] seemed to rationalize domestic abuse as a result of “the stress and frustrations that men encounter in their daily lives.” While denouncing such violence, she didn’t think it did much good to punish men for it.

She added in her 31-page treatise: “More men are victims of domestic violence than women.”

Abedin’s journal “in 1999 published a book, edited by her mother, that justifies the barbaric practice of female genital mutilation under Islamic law, while claiming ‘man-made laws have in fact enslaved women.’” [emphasis added]

Worst of all, as Sperry reported, Huma Abedin “is listed as ‘assistant editor’ on the masthead of the 2002 issue in which her mother suggested the US was doomed to be attacked on 9/11 because of ‘sanctions’ it leveled against Iraq and other ‘injustices’ allegedly heaped on the Muslim world.”

In response, the Clinton camp has claimed that Huma Abedin had no actual involvement in the journal that listed her on its masthead and published her mother’s writing, but was merely using it as resume fodder. Can we really believe that?

Huma Abedin grew up in an Islamist family business that was funded by radical Muslims. It published a journal aimed at keeping Muslims in Western countries true to the fundamentalist Wahhabi version of Islam that prevails in the country that funded that journal: Saudi Arabia. As I noted back in January,

Abedin’s parents have been backed throughout their careers by a prominent Islamist, Abdullah Omar Nasseef, who set them up in business with a think tank and a journal, where Huma worked as assistant editor for 12 years, from 1996 to 2008. Naseef, who served as her family’s patron and arranged to pay Huma’s salary, has deep connections to Muslim radicals, including sponsors of terrorism.

That same article cited Vanity Fair reporter William Cohan, who uncovered the following:

In his early years as the patron of the Abedins’ journal, Nasseef was the secretary-general of the Muslim World League, which Andrew McCarthy, the former assistant U.S. attorney who prosecuted the “Blind Sheik,” Omar Abdel Rahman, in the wake of the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, claims “has long been the Muslim Brotherhood’s principal vehicle for the international propagation of Islamic supremacist ideology.”

But it gets even worse:

Abedin’s father led the Institute, while her mother was “active in the International Islamic Council for Da’wa and Relief, which is now headed by Nasseef and was banned in Israel on account of its ties to the Union of Good, a pro-Hamas fund-raising network, run by Yusuf al-Qaradawi,” Cohan said.

Hillary’s Huma is a National Security Threat

What is the greatest foreign menace to U.S. interests, to the freedom and safety of our allies around the world, and to the values of freedom and human dignity upon which the West is founded? It isn’t Putin’s creaky regime that bullies its post-Soviet neighbors, or even insurgent China. Hands down, the gravest danger we and other free nations face is political Islam.

In the short run, the threat is terrorism, as radicalized Muslims bomb, shoot, stab, hack, or otherwise vent their theological hatred of the “unbeliever” in American shopping malls and Parisian concert halls. In the medium run — within our children’s lifetime — the danger is more insidious and overwhelming:

Large Muslim minorities with high birth rates have thronged Western ghettos and organized around mosques whose politicized imams preach the most puritanical, intolerant and intransigent form of Islam, Wahhabism, and the religious duty never to assimilate to Western mores and morals.

Wahhabism is the movement that created the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and it is the creed which the Saudis are spreading all through Europe and America, through the hundreds of millions of dollars they pump into opening mosques and Islamic schools. What isn’t Saudi Arabia doing? Accepting a single Syrian “refugee.” Instead it is paying to build them radical mosques in Germany.

The goal which Wahhabi imams shout from their pulpits is uniform from Glasgow down to Naples: To outbreed the “unbelievers,” and by peaceful and democratic means ratchet up their demands (for more welfare payments, more exemption from civil law, more immigration from Muslim countries) until they have done to France, Belgium, and Britain what their ancestors did to Syria, Iraq, and Egypt: inundated historically Christian countries and annexed them irrevocably for Islam.

This same, starkly intolerant version of Islam is being spread all around the world, including the world’s largest Muslim country, Indonesia, where “folk Islam” had over the centuries grown less intolerant and more peaceful. Wahhabism being promoted by Saudi money, through journals like Huma Abedin’s. Other Saudi money, somewhere between 10 and 25 million dollars, ended up in the murky coffers of the Clinton Foundation, as The New York Times reports.

Huma Abedin was deeply implicated in Hillary Clinton’s reckless abuse of classified State Department emails. As I noted in January, “it was Abedin who rejected appeals by the State Department for Hillary to use a government email server, instead of her illegal private server, for thousands of confidential and classified messages.” Abedin’s whole work experience before the White House, and her entire immediate family, is sunk up to the eyebrows in promoting bigoted, misogynist, anti-Christian radical Islam, funded by Saudi Arabia, where not a single church is allowed to operate and bibles are illegal. Can we really be safe with Abedin as Clinton’s White House Chief of Staff?
