The Brew: Berlin Wall Goes Back Up as Patriotic Party Faces Ban. Remember the Lawfare Aimed at Imprisoning Donald Trump?

The German government just declared the opposition party, the second biggest in the country, an “extremist” organization. That gives German security agencies full authority to spy on it, and is the last legal step before an outright ban on the Alliance for Germany (AfD). If you read The Stream regularly, you already know that across the continent

political parties well to the left of Charles de Gaulle and Konrad Adenauer are currently suppressed as “extremist,” Nazi-adjacent movements…. If either of those heroic enemies of Adolf Hitler were alive and vocal today, he’d be brought up on hate crime charges. And there is no question that Winston Churchill, whose only respite from being pilloried for racism and imperialism comes when he must be trotted out to tar some skeptic of a regime change war with the sobriquet “appeaser,” would suffer the same fate.

Elites, using censorship, spy agencies, and other tools they control, are waging a

relentless war against populists, nationalists, and orthodox Christians in Western Europe — from the legal persecution of pro-lifers for silently praying near abortion clinics to the trumped-up imprisonment of the French nationalist politician Marine le Pen to the recent proposal of a war-hungry British government to exempt Muslim migrants from conscription. British anti-Islamist activist Tommy Robinson rots in prison while Pakistani rape-gang veterans walk free.

In Canada, “hate crimes laws … permit house arrest of suspects and the legal persecution of Christian preachers for reading aloud from the Book of Leviticus.”

Vice President J.D. Vance spoke out against this crackdown in his Feb. 15 speech in Munich. Now Secretary of State Marco Rubio is responding to the latest tightening of the screws:

Now you know what would have happened right here in the U.S. if the Left had won (or managed to steal) the 2024 presidential election. That was clear from the way the FBI was infiltrating Latin Mass churches, arresting peaceful protestors, and designating PTA moms opposed to transgender porn in schools as “domestic extremists.”

Pray hard and stay vigilant. It can happen here. It almost did.

Left Wins in Australia After Triumphing in Canada

It seems that the U.S. is the last free English-speaking country left standing, as we process the victory of the Labor Party in Australia — rewarding it politically for its savage COVID lockdowns, which included plans for internment camps to hold the unvaccinated. What’s going on in all these countries that share with us the legacy of the Magna Carta and the rule of law? Here are two theories, offered by men who showed great courage during the global COVID panic. The first is a secular explanation:

Legal Scholar: Left Using “Squatter” Tactics to Keep Millions of Illegals in America

Centrist legal scholar Jonathan Turley — no MAGA activist — offers a disturbing analysis of what’s behind federal judges’ incessant obstruction of President Donald Trump’s efforts to enforce our immigration laws, which Joe Biden openly flouted and refused to enforce. Turley writes:

[O]ur legal system is failing the public by allowing unlawful immigrants with no meritorious claims to game the system for years and then simply vanish into the nation.

In courtrooms across the country, the nation seems trapped in a type of Squatter Syndrome, a macro version of the housing cases. The slowness of the removal process is being used to keep millions in the country indefinitely. It may prove to be President Joe Biden’s most lasting legacy, a de facto residency by simply overwhelming the system by the sheer number of unlawful entries.

For years, residents in some major cities have expressed frustration as officials threw up their hands after their homes were occupied by squatters. Even though the owners could show officers that the squatters are home invaders (including their own family pictures on the walls), they are often told to seek other housing to let the courts sort it out. That can take months or even years and the squatters play out the litigation (often with the help of some public interest groups) – only to move on to another home when they run out of appeals.

There is a sense of the same helplessness in dealing with unlawful immigration. After over eight million unlawful immigrants entered the country under Biden, Democrats are again shrugging and saying that these immigrants must be allowed to remain for years as they raise asylum and other claims that are overwhelmingly rejected.

Why is the Left exploiting every loophole to keep foreign gang members, wife-beaters, accused rapists, and human traffickers in the country? To sway elections, full stop. Illegal aliens are counted in the census, giving Democrats (by Elon Musk’s estimate) some 20 House seats they otherwise wouldn’t have. Illegals also vote in our elections, and the Left is committed to letting them (see the savage resistance to voter ID and proof-of-citizenship requirements, which a federal judge recently prohibited Trump from demanding in federal elections). What’s worse, according to election-integrity activist David Clements, nationwide illegals get put onto voter rolls and votes are cast on their behalf electronically to help the Left win tight races. That’s one source of all those ballots that came in to flip swing states after Election Night vote-counting was halted in 2020.

The System isn’t just broken. It’s rigged. And we have limited time for President Trump to put rogue judges in their place and restore the rule of law before rigged voting systems are activated to make sure Republicans lose the 2026 mid-term elections. Then the fake impeachment circus can start all over again.

A Trump-appointed judge has authorized migrants targeted by the President’s use of the Alien Enemies Act to proceed with a class-action lawsuit. Judge Rodriguez is only the latest judge to obstruct the Trump administration agenda.

From Fox News. A federal judge has allowed Venezuelans targeted for deportation under the Alien Enemies Act in the Southern District of Texas to proceed with a class-action lawsuit against President Donald Trump’s administration.

And they offer something any of us can do. We can pray. Here’s their petition: “Lord, we ask You to protect the Trump administration as it works to protect America. We pray for favor and just rulings.”

Will We Have Another Marxist Pope?

Wondering what’s going on inside the black box of the papal conclave, which will elect the new leader of the billion-man strong Roman Catholic church? Check out this eye-opening interview Steve Bannon did with traditionalist archbishop Carlo-Maria Vigano, whom Pope Francis excommunicated for his frank attacks on Francis for rejecting biblical teachings. Vigano tells Bannon that global, secular elites helped force Pope Benedict XVI out of office and put Francis in his place, and that the same elites are scheming once again now:

[W]e know that the deep state has interfered several times in the government of many different nations, and that it continues to do so through its emissaries. Just in the past few days, Cardinal Burke has denounced the attempt of “President” Macron to put pressure on the college of cardinals to prevent the election of a conservative pope who would question the policies of the European Union.

From John Podesta’s emails released by Wikileaks we know that the scheme adopted in the civil sphere to foment “color revolutions” was slavishly replicated in the ecclesiastical sphere as well.

The modus operandi is the same: the deep state finances ideological movements and social pressure groups through USAID and other government agencies to simulate dissent against the Magisterium of the Catholic Church and thus be able to put pressure on the hierarchy to adopt reforms, always in a “progressive” sense. At the same time, the part of the hierarchy that is complicit in this subversive operation uses this “virtual” dissent to legitimize reforms that no one is asking for: female priesthood, legitimization of sodomy, apparent democratization of authority through the “synodalization” of the monarchical papacy, etc.

Such interference in the government of the Catholic Church reached the point of theorizing the need to replace the then-reigning Pontiff, Benedict XVI, with an emissary of the deep state who would carry out its subversive plan. And that is exactly what actually happened shortly thereafter: Benedict XVI was forced to resign; Jorge Mario Bergoglio was elected at the 2013 “conclave”; and this Argentine Jesuit actually carried out the orders he had received.

There are also reports that Communist China is using its ally among the electors, Cardinal Pietro Parolin (who organized Pope Francis’s 2017 secret deal with China) to press for a pope equally friendly to that anti-Christian regime — maybe Parolin himself. Catholic journalist Damian Thompson offers the receipts:
