The Kendricks Brothers have just dropped a teaser trailer for their next film. The latest effort from the team behind Fireproof, Courageous and Facing the Giants is called War Room.

The film, with an August 28 release date, “explores the power that prayer can have on marriages, parenting, careers, friendships and every other area of our lives.” As for the plot:

War Room follows Tony and Elizabeth Jordan, a couple who seemingly have it all —  great jobs, a beautiful daughter, their dream home. But appearances can be deceiving. In reality, their marriage has become a war zone and their daughter is collateral damage. With guidance from Miss Clara, an older, wiser woman, Elizabeth discovers she can start fighting for her family instead of against them. As the power of prayer and Elizabeth’s newly energized faith transform her life, will Tony join the fight and become the man he knows he needs to be? Together, their real enemy doesn’t have a prayer.

Elizabeth is played by evangelist and author Priscilla Shirer, while her husband is portrayed by Courageous star T.C. Stallings. Keep your eyes peeled during the trailer for Beth Moore. According to IMDB, she’s playing a character named Mandy.

Meanwhile, you don’t have to wait until August for a faith-based film. Do You Believe?, the Pure Flix follow-up to God’s Not Dead opens this weekend. Early reviews say Do You Believe? is even better.

Here’s the star-studded trailer. (And yes, that is Cybil Sheppard of Moonlighting fame.)
