Evangelist Nick Vujicic joins host Abby Sexton on The 1630 Show. Vujicic, founder of Nick V Ministries and Attitude is Altitude, speaks to a shift that took place in youth ministry sometime during the mid-2000s that has not trained Gen Z in how to find purpose, deal with suffering, or share the Gospel. 00;00;00;09 – 00;00;17;16
Do you know that if you invite someone to your church and they say no and they move away and they never hear about Jesus, do you know the blood is on your hands? Who told you they needed to come to church to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ? That’s why you were supposed to be their neighbor. Stop pointing fingers, dude.

00;00;17;21 – 00;00;28;01
It’s all on you. It’s all on me. It’s all in you. It’s on all of us. Each of us. God, what do you want me to do today? That’s where everything changes. That was a lot. But that’s everything.

00;00;28;02 – 00;00;32;08
No, I love it, I love it. Yeah. So we’re all about discipleship.

00;00;32;11 – 00;00;34;03
That’s why. Yeah. You guys are amazing.

00;00;34;04 – 00;00;51;19
Yes. We are. All of it. We need it. We need it. We are. We are lacking it. As you said in the church so much of the time. And I think that’s, as you said, the reason that Gen Z is struggling with these, this depression and anxiety, they turn to the technology. There’s no discipleship voices that they’re hearing through social media and things like that.

00;00;51;25 – 00;01;04;10
And they’re just desperately searching like, I want somebody to care about me and to show me the love of God and to say, okay, you know, I see the call of God in your life. Let me walk with you as you as you figure out what to do.

00;01;04;13 – 00;01;11;09
You’re saying that comfort is so accessible here in the United States, and that comfort leads to an apathetic spirit?

00;01;11;10 – 00;01;32;05
You know, discipleship really is just making a choice to be a Christ follower and submitting your life every day to the call of God on your life. Our mission is to disciple young leaders just like you. Helping you become everything God has called you to be. We’re here to have authentic conversations about the real topics that our generation wrestles with, whether it’s how to share the gospel, what it means to be a true disciple, or how to navigate faith in today’s world.

00;01;32;10 – 00;01;44;19
Our goal is to equip with the tools, knowledge, and wisdom you need to lead in your generation. Join us every other week as we want to be next gen leaders together and.

00;01;44;21 – 00;02;00;07
Welcome to the 1630 show. I’m your host, Abby Sexton. We are a discipleship ministry developing next gen leaders just like you to become all that God has called you to be. We want to walk with you as you understand your identity in the Lord. Figure out your calling in life and send you out on mission as the leader God calls you to be.

00;02;00;10 – 00;02;30;20
Together, we can provoke and engage to leave a lasting impact on our nation. Today I am joined by Nick Vujicic. He is the founder of Attitude is Altitude and Nick ministries. He is a motivational speaker, a bestselling author, actor, producer, entrepreneur and investor. He has spoken all over the world and about 78 countries and on 3500 stages and shares the gospel and through his physical limitations, he was born without limbs, that God has really used him for his glory and has given Nick Nancy for life and a lot of courage.

00;02;30;20 – 00;02;39;29
And he shares on resilience and ways that we can reframe our challenges. So let’s listen in on my conversation with Nick voyage. Well, Nick, thank you so much for being here today. I’m so excited to have you.

00;02;40;03 – 00;02;43;01
Oh, it’s a pleasure to be here. Thank you very much for having me.

00;02;43;01 – 00;02;56;03
Yeah, absolutely. I’m so excited to hear more of your story. And yeah, for our Gen Z listeners, just excited to share with them a little bit. So I know when you were growing up, you grew up going to church. Yes. And you heard from your pastor that God has a plan for everyone, right? And a purpose for everyone.

00;02;56;03 – 00;03;04;24
But you felt like, well, that can’t be true for me. That’s rebellious. That’s the only thing that’s going to give me purpose. So what was that time of your life like? And can you tell us a bit about your story just from that time?

00;03;04;24 – 00;03;20;23
Yeah. No, I appreciate the opportunity. When I was around 4 or 5 years old, I, I kind of knew I was a little bit different, but I didn’t think it was a big deal until in the age of 6 or 7 years of age, when I actually went to school and everyone else had arms and legs but me.

00;03;20;23 – 00;03;37;03
And I was asking my parents, why was I born this way? They said, we don’t know why, but God has a plan. And you know, I would go to Sunday school and and sing Jesus Loves me. This I know, for the Bible tells me so. But you know, the other song that I also love is Jesus Loves All the Children, all the children of the world.

00;03;37;03 – 00;03;59;24
But I’m like, why do they give me less? And so that was my big question. And so, you know, I don’t expect anyone to relate to a, a life without limbs, but we all have a life with broken heart. Sometimes and big questions and and that that gap in our heart and soul of of finding hope and rest for our soul, but also purpose.

00;03;59;24 – 00;04;23;15
I think a life without purpose, or a lack of meaning. I think that’s one of the biggest reasons why Gen Z, is is comfortably addicted to technology. and, focusing on things that they shouldn’t be doing. and then, trapped in depression because we just don’t know. Why are we here? What what what is this life all about?

00;04;23;15 – 00;04;43;17
And if God’s a good God, then why are there bad things happening? And so these are all the questions I had. And, and I went through depression, went through suicide. I actually attempted suicide at age ten trying to drown myself in my bathtub, believing that I don’t have a hope or a future or a purpose. We know the Bible tells us we have a,

00;04;43;19 – 00;05;03;06
He has a hope, plan and purpose for our life. And a good plan. A really good plan. I didn’t know what that was. I prayed for arms and legs. Arms and legs did not come. But today I realized that when a physical miracle doesn’t come, when you don’t get a miracle, for your body, you can still be a miracle in the hands of God.

00;05;03;06 – 00;05;22;16
And, you know, I love it. How? God is a God of miracles. He is faithful. He’s kind. His gentle, and he can use our broken pieces and do something beautiful with them. And I just want everyone to know that if God can use a man with that arms and legs to be his hands and feet, that God can use any willing heart.

00;05;22;18 – 00;05;23;08
That’s incredible.

00;05;23;08 – 00;05;28;07
Yeah, I love that. So it was that was difficult. That was really hot. It was that’s how that’s how my childhood was.

00;05;28;07 – 00;05;43;10
Yeah, absolutely. Well, as you said, we have so many young people dealing with depression and anxiety and identity issues and just general suffering. We see you see a lot of it. Yeah. I think it can be easy to say, oh, well, you just need to find joy in God, right? Yeah. That’s so much easier said. Pray pray it away.

00;05;43;12 – 00;05;49;22
Yes. So how do you kind of address that? When people try to say that, how do you actually encourage people to find joy in their circumstance?

00;05;49;22 – 00;06;24;10
Yeah. First and foremost, can I just, apologize to all of Gen Z? This is the the the most spineless church for Gen Z ever. Just there’s no spine. Your youth pastors are set up as babysitters. because in 2005, mega-church, medium church, small church, most of them in America, they changed their mode of operation and they saw some Christians, just a few of them, going to the music world and, you know, going to the secular world and be the light of Jesus.

00;06;24;13 – 00;06;46;05
And, wow, what an incredible opportunity that is for that person. And that was between 95 and 2005. And in 2005. That’s when all the youth pastors stop saying, keep your pants on. that’s when actually Bible reading was kind of out of the weekly youth meetings at church, and it was more of a social gathering and fun and having games and stuff.

00;06;46;07 – 00;07;08;04
And that was actually when, back then, if you said the F word, if there was bullying going on, if, if there, if there was any hint of any of teenagers in the church back then in oh five that was having sex and knowing about it, you’d be you’d be held accountable, since oh five, there’s no accountability.

00;07;08;04 – 00;07;27;16
So 20 years of no accountability, no biblical literacy. no meat whatsoever. And reframing youth pastor, sorry if this is offensive, but this is the truth for most churches. And I love you, pastor loving youth pastors. But for real. it actually starts at age nine years of age. If you didn’t actually teach the nine year olds.

00;07;27;16 – 00;07;53;09
In fact, I actually know more nine year olds who are closer to Jesus than anyone, today. because they really believe they really know. They really, actually memorized scriptures. And unfortunately, most of you mothers and fathers don’t remember the last time they memorized the scripture. You don’t remember if any time they’ve actually opened the Bible in front of you from Monday to Saturday, you see your parents as hypocrites because they’re someone else.

00;07;53;09 – 00;08;13;07
When they go to church. So it actually starts in the home and it starts in the church, and then that’s the fruit. So what you’re saying today of suicide, of depression, of addiction, please be careful of your addiction. You know, seven hours of iPad or iPhone, smartphones, whatever you want to call it, seven hours a day.

00;08;13;07 – 00;08;42;22
Remap your brain after six months, you actually change, you change. And so, be careful. and and start asking the questions. But just because the people around you don’t know the answer to your question. So good questions don’t hang up on Jesus. I apologize to you that most churches don’t even know what to tell you with your good questions, but look for the answers.

00;08;42;24 – 00;09;05;20
There’s a lot of good people out there that have incredible answers that are scripturally based, and unfortunately, 50% of our church in the Banner of Love has said false things from both the prosperity gospel. Just pray it away. Just give to church, just volunteer at church and everything is going to be great. Or you have a broken Z.

00;09;05;20 – 00;09;30;18
Give it away and then God’s going to give you a new car. Oh my God, some of those pastors are going to hell. I’m sorry, but they because the prosperity gospel is fake. And, if you have a broken car, you know, you could you could be remaining as a blessed beggar for the rest of your life, believing that God can give you everything you, want.

00;09;30;20 – 00;09;56;18
And, or you can actually be a blessed, child of God where he actually makes you work. Gen Z work is good. Work is blessed. Work is worship to God. Work is not evil. Go get a job. Go save up money. Learn how to invest. Multiply what God’s given you and instead of giving away your broken car, go get a job, save up money, fix your car and then dream a little bigger.

00;09;56;18 – 00;10;16;25
Maybe God wants you to be an entrepreneur to own a couple car dealerships that actually give away cars to single mothers or single fathers who actually need a car. So stop being a blessed beggar and dream a little bigger. so, you know, look with admonish ment, I just want you to understand this is the intersection of our country and I so many Gen Z is.

00;10;16;25 – 00;10;39;05
Listen to me. You listen to Charlie Kirk. Good. I love Charlie Kirk. We’re friends. We love Charlie Kirk. We love everything that tp USA is done. We love. We love the different tide that is changed in our politics in America. We love what you guys do because you’ve actually reverse engineered how to actually bring an army of the next generation to actually engage in politics, which is really, really, really important, even down to the school board.

00;10;39;05 – 00;11;00;22
It’s actually really, really important. I people don’t understand what we we’ve done in Texas and actually got up to the school board to actually bring evangelical Protestant full time chaplains for every public school in the state. No problem. The money is there. It’s all executed. Legislature, the school board. The school board says no. Why? Because the Christians are not there.

00;11;00;24 – 00;11;26;06
So thank God for the political things that have happened. Thank God for the tide that’s changed. But don’t get warm and fuzzy right now. Please beg that the church actually repent of our sins. Between black and white Democrats and Republicans, there has never been a greater divide than today. And when you look at Jesus’s prayer, John 17, he wants us to be one.

00;11;26;08 – 00;12;05;08
I’m telling you, 70% of Republicans are corrupt, 70% of Democrats are corrupt, and it’s up to Gen Z to actually figure out what the truth is and burn it all down. Not literally, but you understand what I’m saying. See, God send his fire. And if we don’t repent, if we don’t repent in the church, and we don’t return, if we don’t stop talking about abortion being completely wrong, but also not judging the black people or the people in the in the cities of Chicago where there’s a death every second week in that complex.

00;12;05;08 – 00;12;38;07
And now she has an unexpected pregnancy, don’t judge her or condemn her for having the abortion. Let’s let’s help. First and foremost, the inner city change, right? Help people where they’re at. It’s not just a black. It’s not just a brown. It’s it’s not just Chicago. It’s everywhere. Okay. Dallas. Okay. 32,000 homeless veterans. that’s a sin. There were still 32,000 homeless veterans between 2016 and 2019 during Trump’s presidency.

00;12;38;13 – 00;12;42;06
It didn’t change.

00;12;42;09 – 00;13;07;10
I want you to know it’s the Church of Jesus Christ, not a president. And it’s being the hands and feet. And the only generation that I see is this if Gen Z don’t get on your knees and don’t spend money to go to a school college that teaches you how to pray better, spend five hours a day, go out there, be the hands and feet.

00;13;07;10 – 00;13;35;08
Share your story. Start all the schools out there. You don’t really like me right now, but this is this is the front line. And if we don’t get Gen Z now, we will actually. And if we don’t get the nine year olds now, it’s not the next generation. It’s the now generation. It’s the now generation. And anything anyone does above the age of 25 years of age today, in all good intention, in all God conviction.

00;13;35;10 – 00;13;59;13
If we haven’t held the hands of the nine year olds to the 25 year olds, we’re going to lose America by two generations. Now, I hate to be the pessimist, but that’s the pessimist hand that I have with the other optimistic, let’s run for Jesus and let’s get real and let’s get your answers questions. Let’s get your questions answered and let’s see what the Lord has for you.

00;13;59;16 – 00;14;25;00
That’s it. That’s what it comes down to. How can you be the hands and feet? Do you realize? Can I just give you one clear example? Has your church shared with you how to share the gospel of Jesus Christ in three minutes? Do you know your testimony? Do you know that if you invite someone to your church and they say no and they move away and they never hear about Jesus, do you know the blood is on your hands?

00;14;25;02 – 00;14;40;06
Who told you they need to come to church to hear the gospel of Jesus Christ? That’s why you were supposed to be their neighbor. Stop pointing fingers, dude. It’s all on you. It’s all on me. It’s all in you. It’s on all of us. Each of us. God, what do you want me to do today? That’s where everything changes.

00;14;40;13 – 00;14;43;05
That was a lot. But that’s everything.

00;14;43;05 – 00;14;47;12
No, I love it, I love it. yeah. So we’re all about discipleship.

00;14;47;15 – 00;14;49;07
That’s why. Yeah. You guys are amazing.

00;14;49;07 – 00;15;06;25
Yes. We are all tired. We need it. We need it. We are. We are lacking it. As you said in the church so much of the time. And I think that’s, as you said, a reason that Gen Z is struggling with these, this depression and anxiety. They turn to the technology. There’s no discipleship voices that they’re hearing through social media and things like that.

00;15;07;01 – 00;15;20;27
And they’re just desperately searching like, I want somebody to care about me and to show me the love of God and to say, okay, you know, I see the call of God in your life. Let me walk with you as you as you figure out what to do. And so how would you encourage a young person to find somebody to disciple them?

00;15;20;29 – 00;15;28;05
Because that can be really tricky. As you said in the church today. And how do you then find somebody to pour into, like, what does that look like from kind of a practical standpoint?

00;15;28;05 – 00;15;56;03
Do you do you hear this question, how does anyone find someone who can disciple them? Because it’s hard to find someone to disciple them in their church. Do you hear do you hear what I know? This is the saddest state America has ever been to understand. So, lots of great programs everywhere. lots of lots of lots of good teachings.

00;15;56;03 – 00;16;31;20
There’s Bible studies. but first and foremost, if, so much to share. the greatest discipling pastor that I know of is his name is called Jeff Jenkins from Anchor Church in McKinney. He is the best pastoral teacher, holding himself, holding himself accountable, with accountability around him to finish strong. Not like some pastors, who end up having laundry.

00;16;32;02 – 00;17;03;07
but absolutely incredible. Pastor Jeff Jenkins, he’s my home church pastor out in, McKinney, north of Dallas area. Check out his YouTube videos. Absolutely incredible teacher. My favorite one in the world right now, actually. we are, we’re blessed to have many great discipleship programs out there. My ministry doesn’t have one. We have a ministry that engages you, though, to help other people.

00;17;06;21 – 00;17;25;00
Yeah, that’s a really good question. I actually don’t even know a go to discipleship thing, because Purpose driven Life is a it’s milky. It’s wonderful Gen Z out there. I mean, if you need milk, right? When a baby, when a baby is born, you start with milk. Purpose driven life. Bring that back, baby. Like, I think it was really good.

00;17;25;20 – 00;17;48;22
that’s great for Gen Z. I’m thinking of Gen Z. but we also Gen Z, I want you to know, we’ve had much upsetting experiences with American churches who also don’t do one on one counseling. And so we actually if you go to Nick Faith ministries, dawg, that’s why we’re here at J. And Abby. Awesome. We have this incredible opportunity.

00;17;48;25 – 00;18;20;29
You know, some of you, you want to be a psychologist and, you know, get into debt, and then be employed by probably an employer that refuses you to say the word. Jesus. One of my Christian psychologist friends who spent a lot of years in school, she was helping the veterans as a psychologist on Army bases, two specialties in combat PTSD and sexual abuse.

00;18;21;01 – 00;18;47;16
She got paid a lot of money, but all they did was put a veteran in front of her for 20 minutes, and then she was a prescribing multiple drugs, and she can’t say Jesus could swear word. Well, let me just say it this way. I’ve written out 106 different ways and how the human being can suffer. And every answer for a healed heart is Jesus.

00;18;47;25 – 00;19;15;09
to get healed. And, if you go to Nick V ministries.org, you’ll see champions for the Broken Hearted series. first and foremost, if you’ve ever been bullied, if you’ve ever been suicidal, if you’ve ever had an addiction, if you have a disability, those are a couple of the 12 topics that we have incredible resources and videos with me interviewing experts to encourage you.

00;19;17;12 – 00;20;00;01
today, free. Second of all, if you look up the caregiver training module, if you actually tell my team 1630 I what, 1630 and Nick said I could get trained for free, quote me on it, and then they’ll call me, because if a Gen Z wants to actually do a specialty that you can actually do one on one counseling, something that your church doesn’t do, you could be it, we can certify you online, and you can actually certified that to a point, be trained, to speak about 95% of all the topics that a licensed practitioner can actually share.

00;20;00;03 – 00;20;23;00
Yeah. It’s unbelievable. It’s pioneering. It’s massive. I think what’s beautiful, I want to go back to discipleship. Just read your Bible. I’d start at the book of John, read one chapter a day, read it three times over. and, that’s where I would begin and continue to read the Bible and just pray, God, teach me today.

00;20;23;03 – 00;20;36;08
There’s so many devotionals out there. you know, I don’t know what level of discipleship you’re on. and, and you know, what’s the saddest part? Well, yeah, I.

00;20;36;10 – 00;20;37;09
I don’t know.

00;20;37;12 – 00;21;05;03
I was in Washington, DC, and, part of an event to repent and, the 14 year old who was up there on stage repenting on behalf of Gen Z for their sins, weeping was pretty much the only one weeping out of everyone there, because she was just flooded with so much pain and so much passion, because she’s with her friends who are trying to commit suicide.

00;21;05;05 – 00;21;31;13
She’s with her friends who have had abortions. she doesn’t have a church that teaches her how to speak to the LGBTQ plus community and love, she feels absolutely ill equipped. And then she’s asking God to forgive Gen Z ill equipped. She pulled me aside. She said, what do I do? All my friends are addicted to pornography.

00;21;31;16 – 00;21;49;17
And I said, go to youth pastor. Ask him, do you know this? Number two, what’s your resource for it? Number three, would you talk about it? Would you do a study on it? Would you do a sermon series of it? And if not, then you’re going to find something and you’re going to start your own group. I said it’s Gen Z to actually start doing what the church is not doing.

00;21;49;17 – 00;22;08;03
Can you hear me real quick, Gen Z? If it ain’t you, it ain’t happening. Don’t wait for the church to do what God wants the church to do. You do it. Go up to a pastor and if they refuse to do it, just start doing it and God will lead you. It’s how everything happens when you’re a pioneer.

00;22;08;13 – 00;22;29;11
no one knew what to do with this limbless man who became the hands and feet to stand in front of the gates of hell and redirect traffic. And now 35 presidents and prime ministers, 35,000 invitations for me to speak, 11 million people face to face, of which 1.6 million people gave their life to Jesus Christ. Preaching the gospel is 67 million people in three weeks in 2024.

00;22;29;14 – 00;22;49;12
It’s God to step out in faith and don’t look at your capability. Look at your availability. If you make yourself available and stop listening, all your friends just listen to God. I mean, you can but listen to him. Ask him to, right? And before you ask your friends to pray for you, you pray for us. Yeah. Sorry. So,

00;22;49;14 – 00;23;10;27
Yeah, absolutely. Well, on that topic of identity. Yeah. Right. I mean, that is so vital to fulfilling our purpose that God has had for us and for us. And so can you talk about the connection between identity and purpose? I’d also just love to hear from your perspective. And, how is that played out in your life when you go from feeling depressed and like, the Lord can’t use me at all to now I’m preaching the gospel to millions of people.

00;23;10;27 – 00;23;12;04
So what did that look like for you?

00;23;12;11 – 00;23;31;20
So I tried to drown myself at age ten. I was stopped by one thought it was seeing a visual in my mind, seeing my mum and my dad crying at my grave, wishing they could have done something more. In my documentary, No Limits, No Limits is coming out in theaters this fall 2025. It’s amazing. no limits, No Limits.

00;23;31;20 – 00;23;50;09
All in cinemas, in theaters near you. Yay! at age 13, I hurt my foot playing soccer, and I realized I had a choice either to be angry or for what? I don’t have to be thankful for what I do have. Aged 15, I gave my life to Jesus. Reading John chapter nine about the blind man, I realized, God, if you have a plan for a blind man, then you’ve got a plan for me.

00;23;50;09 – 00;23;55;19
I don’t need to know your plan. I just need to believe you have a plan. Faith.

00;23;55;19 – 00;23;56;29
Yeah. That’s good.

00;23;57;01 – 00;24;20;22
And that’s what happened. so my identity at age 15 completely changed when the world says you’re not good enough, get a second opinion. I don’t care about your grades at school. I don’t care about how many friends you have. I don’t care what people think of you. I don’t care if you’re a virgin. I’ll applaud. You say, well done, my brother.

00;24;20;24 – 00;24;44;26
Well done. My sister. you don’t need to be conforming to the world, because what the world can give you is just temporary highs that leaves you empty, deflated and broken. Jesus is the one that redeems you, that fills you up, and you’re a child of God. When those little voices come, you know spiritual realm is real, right?

00;24;44;26 – 00;25;07;06
Angels. I’ve seen an angel. Are you okay? Yeah. Yeah. I’ve been to heaven three times. Wow. I’ve seen more demons than anything. Exorcisms in Africa. And, spiritual warfare is real. And, I want you to know that that voice in your mind. You’re not good enough. You’re ugly. You’ll always be depressed. That’s just a lie, the devil.

00;25;07;06 – 00;25;26;23
But if you don’t know the truth of the Word of God, you’re going to die with the lie. So, come to God. Go back to the word of God. look up ChatGPT 100 verses that will help my self esteem. Praise God you can use that stuff, right? And then read it through and read it out loud.

00;25;28;01 – 00;25;50;11
That’s identity. You’re royalty. I’m. I’m I’m a prince, man. I’m a general in God’s army. I’m not a little kid with no arms, no legs. Right. And I actually never die, so I’ve had grenades in my house. Right. I’ve had death threats. Okay. bombs in stadiums. Threats as well. When I was preaching the gospel, we’ve been through a lot.

00;25;51;22 – 00;26;11;20
and, but, you know, even if I died, it doesn’t matter. you never die. The body is buried, but I don’t die. I finally go home. I can’t wait to go home. And when you treasures are indeed in heaven, you really believe it? Then you don’t really care as much. Yeah. For being alive and having everything you want.

00;26;11;20 – 00;26;26;02
We’re not here to sip a pina colada. If you’re here to just try praying and find all the gifts of the Holy Spirit and get to a place in your life where you actually comfortable and things are making a little bit more sense. Can I just tell you, when you give your life to Jesus Christ is going to get harder?

00;26;26;05 – 00;26;47;06
And I challenge people who just have an easy life. I challenge him, I’m like, are you sure that you’re standing exactly where God wants you to be? Because when you stand where God wants you to be, it gets a little hot sometimes, ups and downs sometimes, but the higher highs in the lower lows, that’s the stretch of your maturity and your character and your faith in Jesus Christ.

00;26;47;06 – 00;27;15;03
Through experiences. And so that’s that identity. And then depression. Getting out of depression is really, really hard. I’m going to give you some practical tips though. Number one, right out, ten things that you can be grateful for and read over them every single day. The second thing you can do is think of the three hardest difficult days of your life in the last five years and wonder, how could these three days could have been worse?

00;27;15;03 – 00;27;34;12
How could they have even been worse? Which is so depressing to think about that. But just stay with me here. When you do that, you realize the grace of God that it actually could have been worse. Number three go help someone else in need. Number four, go get counseling. And number five, call a friend, tell a friend and have them walk you through it.

00;27;34;14 – 00;27;35;14
You know, that’s amazing.

00;27;35;14 – 00;27;41;14
Yeah. You put those five things together. Yeah. And you read the Bible, right? And you pray.

00;27;41;16 – 00;27;41;28
Yes.

00;27;41;29 – 00;27;58;06
Okay. Yes. And then you get people to pray when you can’t pray. I’ve been there. There’s this. There’s mornings I wake up, I’m depressed. You understand me? I went through counseling in 2021, right? We all go through hell. We all go through ups and downs. It’s when you know no one has it all together. No one’s righteous, perfect like God.

00;27;58;08 – 00;28;02;00
But you have to hunger and strive for righteous and get get the help that you need.

00;28;02;25 – 00;28;14;05
Absolutely. Yeah. Well, if you have some young people who are gung ho and like, man, I want to get involved in something right now, what’s the way that they can start getting involved. And are there ways with your ministry they could get involved.

00;28;14;07 – 00;28;38;06
First and foremost every day. Please pray for pray for our country, pray for our church. pray for our schools. Ask God how you can be the hands and feet in your school today. He has a plan, a purpose, and he doesn’t need to wait to use you. you don’t need to wait till after college, get married, having kids, settle down, then blah blah blah.

00;28;38;06 – 00;28;54;19
Are you kidding me? If you’re not faithful with what he’s giving you now, he’s not going to give you more. so he wants to use you now? I mean, every bad thing that could ever happen in my life if I could just help one person see, see that Jesus loves them and that God has a plan for them.

00;28;54;22 – 00;29;18;04
Yeah. Everything’s different with that perspective. So if you yourself pray, pray for the community around you. Pray for the country that you’re that we repent. Go to Nick ministries.org and tell you pastors about these one on one counseling things. we called it for now. Okay. Give a training. we may rebrand it up to something else.
