Dr. Phil Voices Concerns for How the COVID-19 Lockdown is Impacting Mental Health

As the US unemployment rate surpasses 22 million, many people are facing economic stress like never before. At what point do the measures taken to “flatten the curve” of the coronavirus cause more damage than they are worth?

Speaking to Laura Ingraham last night, Dr. Phil expressed his great concerns about the mental and physical health risks of the COVID-19 shutdown. “I can’t show you an X-ray of anxiety, but the fact of the matter is, the longer this lockdown goes on, the more vulnerable people become.”
