Democrats Target Black Babies, Try to Silence Black Conservatives

The Civil Rights movement was a great good thing. As Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr., said, it brought the promises of our Founders to every citizen, regardless of race. But its imitators were evil. Satan apes God. He appears as an angel of light. Just so, corrosive movements opposed to Christianity stole the Civil Rights template and used it. Feminism, then “Gay Liberation,” and lately the Transgender movement. They have stolen the worthy mantle of a non-violent, church-led struggle for racial equality. Now even “animal rights” activists try to claim that the distinction between man and meat is “speciesism.” Then they equate that with racism. And yes, their arguments end in bestiality. As the movement’s leading philosopher, Pete Singer, has admitted.

Stealing Civil Rights

On April 10, Rev. William Owens, President of the Coalition of African American Pastors (CAAP), defended those who marched in America’s civil rights movement against an effort to co-opt their sacrifice. In response to recent remarks from Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Rev. Owens has asked the congresswoman to stop using the civil rights movement to advance her unrelated agenda.

“Rep. Ocasio-Cortez has fallen into the bad habit of comparing her political goals to the American civil rights movement,” stated Rev. Owens. “While it is obvious she understands the importance of that movement, she does not seem to realize that her statements trivialize the work of those who marched.”

Rev. Owens referenced an Instagram video in which the congresswoman likened those who oppose her climate change platform to bigots who opposed equal rights for blacks. She has also compared climate change and environmentalism to a modern civil rights movement.

“Speaking as someone who was there, lived through Jim Crow, and marched with Dr. King, it is disrespectful to see Rep. Ocasio-Cortez try to use that movement for her own political ends,” Rev. Owens added.

“Attempting to use the Civil Rights Movement for your own purposes reflects poorly on your knowledge of history and appears disrespectful and dismissive.”

Stop the Hijacking

Joined by others who marched in the civil rights movement, Rev. Owens has launched a petition asking Rep. Ocasio-Cortez to stop trying to co-opt the movement. The petition states, “Attempting to use the Civil Rights Movement for your own purposes reflects poorly on your knowledge of history and appears disrespectful and dismissive.”

“Rep. Ocasio-Cortez is attempting to borrow the dignity of a great political movement to lend legitimacy to her own proposals,” concluded Rev. Owens. “But her ideas must stand or fall on their own merits, not ride on the suffering and pain of others.” Find the petition here.

Fighting Back

One of the leading figures in trying to take back the original, Christian, and patriotic meaning of the Civil Rights movement is Candace Owens. As communications director of Turning Point USA, she works with college students nationwide. Hers is one of many groups trying to free students from the ideological training most colleges offer instead of education.

So of course, some utterly ruthless, unscrupulous leftists are trying to take Owens down. The worst lie they’re trying to peddle? That Owens supports Adolf Hitler. No, really. People want you to believe that a black, pro-life Christian is secretly a Nazi. That she let her secret slip during a speech. In fact, Owens’ speech was in defense of moderate nationalism. Or patriotism, rightly defined. She based it on the brilliant work of an Israeli political philosopher, Yoram Hazony.

In her talk, Owens clearly said that if Hitler had only been interested in building up his country and making it great, he wouldn’t have been a threat to his neighbors. But since he actually targeted and killed his own countrymen, he wasn’t a true nationalist. Through deceptive editing and dishonest truncated quotes, leftists tried to twist Owens’ statement. To turn it into an endorsement of the Nazis. One based on the work of an Israeli thinker. Yeah, right.

At least one pro-choice legislator, who is black herself, is proposing racist laws. Laws that encourage black-only abortions.

Of course, most newsrooms in America are completely in the tank for the Democrats. So that false narrative got repeated a thousand times. The real quote? It barely appeared. But Owens stood up for herself. Testifying before Congress, she shredded Rep. Ted Lieu for playing a dishonestly edited version of her remark. Watch the exchange through to the end. It’s epic:

Targeting Black Babies

Meanwhile, what are leftists doing to help black Americans? I’m glad you asked. At least one pro-choice legislator, who is black herself, is proposing racist laws. Laws that encourage black-only abortions. Yes, if you need to, go over those lines again. You read them correctly. LifeNews reports:

Abortion advocates tried unsuccessfully to weaken Ohio’s heartbeat bill with a series of amendments this week, including one that would have allowed only African American unborn babies to be aborted.

The heartbeat bill passed the state legislature Thursday. It would prohibit abortions after an unborn baby’s heartbeat is detectable, about six weeks of pregnancy, in Ohio. Because many women do not even know they are pregnant at this early stage, the legislation could protect almost all unborn babies in Ohio if it goes into effect.

But if Democratic state Rep. Janine Boyd had her way, the bill also would have given an exemption to African American women to abort their unborn babies for any reason up to the state’s current abortion limit, 20 weeks.

While abortions hurt every race and culture, black Americans have a disproportionately high number of abortions compared to other racial groups.

According to census data, African Americans make up about 13 percent of the U.S. population but have about 30 percent of the abortions. African-American teenage abortion rates are more than twice as high as the national average, according to research by the Guttmacher Institute.

Research by Protecting Black Life also found that 79 percent of Planned Parenthood surgical abortion facilities are located within walking distance of black and Latino neighborhoods.

African American pro-life leaders point to Planned Parenthood founder Margaret Sanger’s eugenic beliefs as a possible reason for the targeting of minorities. Sanger described immigrants and minorities as “human weeds,” “reckless breeders” and “spawning … human beings who never should have been born” in her book “Pivot of Civilization.” Sanger also wrote about getting rid of people with diseases and disabilities through sterilization and segregation, describing these “morons” as “a dead weight of human waste.”

If you haven’t read it, please check out this column. It documents in heart-breaking detail the racist and eugenicist connections of Margaret Sanger. Better yet, sit down and watch this grueling documentary by black pro-life activists, which shows the racist intent behind Planned Parenthood.

America is coming to a moment of decision. The lines between ordinary sanity and goodness, and raving suicidal evil, are becoming starker by the day. We don’t have “mixed bag” Democrats like Hubert Humphrey, George McGovern, or Daniel Patrick Moynihan anymore.

That party has been taken over, from top to bottom, in almost 50 states. Its new overlords? Radicals who hate the family, God, and human life as He made it. These people don’t want to extend the protections of the Constitution to black people. They want to tear it up. They don’t care that Margaret Sanger was a racist. Nor that Candace Owens clearly denounced Hitler as un-patriotic and evil. They are even willing to sponsor blatantly biased laws that target unborn black children. All the while waving the mantle of “anti-racism” and “women’s choice.”

We are dealing with principalities and powers, folks. The Democrats aren’t declining. They’re rushing over a cliff like the Gadarene Swine.
