Declarations for 2025: Embracing God’s Favor and Abundance

By Rev. Samuel Rodriguez Published on January 10, 2025

As we step into 2025, let us cling to the eternal truth of God’s Word. The Word of the Lord tells us that when we decide and decree what is biblically substantiated, aligned with His will, and filled with His purpose, God’s favor will rest upon it.

“You will also decide and decree a thing, and it will be established for you; And the light [of God’s favor] will shine upon your ways.” (Job 22:28, AMP)

Let us abide in Him this year, and His words will abide in us. We trust that He hears our prayers and will make our requests visible and tangible in undeniable ways.

“If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.” (John 15:7, ESV)

Are you ready to embrace these declarations? Are you prepared to believe them and see them become a reality in your home, family, marriage, ministry, career, health, and calling as you fill the earth with the glory of Jesus Christ? Let us boldly declare together that 2025 will be, without a doubt, your best year ever — in the name of Jesus, for the glory of Christ!

Declaration #1: “2025 will be my best year ever because I will begin and finish this year with God, His kingdom, His Word, and worship as my priority.” When we prioritize Him in all we do, God’s presence becomes the foundation for our lives. Let us begin and end this year with the Lord as our focus, seeking His Kingdom above all else.

Biblical Truths

  • Genesis 1:1 (NLT): “In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.” Just as creation began with God, so must our year start and end with Him.
  • Matthew 6:33 (NLT): “Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live righteously, and He will give you everything you need.” When we prioritize God’s kingdom, He aligns our lives with His provision and purpose.
  • John 1:1 (NLT): “In the beginning the Word already existed. The Word was with God, and the Word was God.” Start and finish your year with the Word, the foundation of everything.
  • Judges 20:18 (NLT): “The Israelites went up to Bethel and inquired of God. They said, ‘Who of us is to go up first to fight against the Benjamites?’ The Lord replied, ‘Judah shall go first.’” Judah represents praise and worship. Send worship first to anchor your year.

Declaration #2: “This will be my best year ever because my assignment, my anointing, my attitude, and my atmosphere will align perfectly for God’s glory!”

In 2025, may your assignment, anointing, attitude, and atmosphere perfectly align with God’s plan and purpose for your life.

  • Your assignment: Your assignment is your mission, God-ordained purpose, and mantle.
    • 1 Corinthians 7:17 (NLT): “Each of you should continue to live in whatever situation the Lord has placed you and remain as you were when God first called you. This is my rule for all the churches.” God has placed you in a specific assignment for His glory.
  • Your anointing: Your anointing is God’s power over that assignment.
    • 1 John 2:27 (NLT): “But you have received the Holy Spirit, and He lives within you, so you don’t need anyone to teach you what is true. For the Spirit teaches you everything you need to know, and what He teaches is true—it is not a lie. So just as He has taught you, remain in fellowship with Christ.” God’s anointing equips you to fulfill your divine purpose.
  • Your attitude: Your attitude reflects a righteous mindset and approach to life.
    • Philippians 2:5 (NLT): “You must have the same attitude that Christ Jesus had.” A Christ-like attitude is essential for success in 2025.
  • Your atmosphere: Your atmosphere is who surrounds you, and you are who surrounds you.
    • 1 Kings 18:43-44 (NLT): “Then he said to his servant, ‘Go and look out toward the sea.’ The servant went and looked, then returned to Elijah and said, ‘I didn’t see anything.’ Seven times Elijah told him to go and look. Finally, the seventh time, his servant told him, ‘I saw a little cloud about the size of a man’s hand rising from the sea.’ Then Elijah shouted, ‘Hurry to Ahab and tell him, “Climb into your chariot and go back home. If you don’t hurry, the rain will stop you!”’ Like Elijah’s servant, you will be surrounded by people in 2025 who see God’s promise before you do and who inspire you to act in faith.

Your atmosphere determines much of your trajectory. In 2025, surround yourself with people like Elijah’s servant—individuals who are faithful, discerning, and live holy lives. You won’t need to double-check their word when they speak because they are trustworthy, God-fearing, and Spirit-led. Like Elijah, you’ll move in faith when someone you trust says, “I see a cloud.” You’ll run because you know they are aligned with God’s truth.

Declaration #3: “In 2025, my obedience to God will lead to His abundance in every area of my life — my home, my family, my career, my health, and my calling!”

In 2025, your obedience to God’s Word and His Spirit will open doors that sacrifice alone could never achieve. His abundant favor will rain down upon your obedience, blessing your work and meeting every need.

More Biblical Truths

  • Obedience is greater than sacrifice: 1 Samuel 15:22 (NLT): “But Samuel replied, ‘What is more pleasing to the Lord: your burnt offerings and sacrifices or your obedience to His voice? Listen! Obedience is better than sacrifice, and submission is better than offering the fat of rams.’”
  • God’s abundance of favor: Deuteronomy 28:12 (NLT): “The Lord will send rain at the proper time from His rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all your work. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them.”
  • God’s abundance of love: Ephesians 3:20-21 (NLT): “Now all glory to God, who is able, through His mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. Glory to Him in the church and Christ Jesus through all generations, forever and ever! Amen.” His abundant love will exceed anything you could ever imagine or ask for.
  • God’s abundance of provision: John 10:10 (NLT): “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” God’s abundance is rooted in His purpose for your life — one of richness, fulfillment, and divine satisfaction.

In 2025, your obedience will bring spiritual breakthroughs and unleash abundance in areas you have been waiting for. God’s abundance isn’t limited to material wealth — it includes favor, peace, joy, and purpose.

As you align with God’s Word, you will see doors open that no man can shut, and provision flow in ways you never imagined. The key to abundance is faithful obedience, for God rewards those who diligently seek and follow Him.

This will be your best year ever because Jesus is

  • Your savior
  • Your Lord
  • Your deliverer
  • Your healer
  • Your provider
  • Your promoter
  • Your protector

Remember, from January to December, Jesus is the Alpha and Omega of this new year. He is the author and finisher of your faith. Because of the sacrifice He made, there is no condemnation for those in Jesus. Nothing can separate you from His love.

Happy New Year! I pray 2025 is filled with the light of God’s favor, the abundance of His provision, and the joy of His presence in your life.a
