Christians Must Hold the Standard

By The Stream Published on August 6, 2019

James Robison, founder of The Stream, recently spoke about the importance of Christians holding up God’s standard and being salt and light to the world. He reminds viewers that if the church fails to fulfill God’s kingdom purpose, it will become worthless. He encourages Christians to continue to be a light on a hill, not hidden, because the light illuminates the way.

“Hold up the standard. Demonstrate the transforming truth of the Gospel. Be salt that doesn’t lose its effect. … It’s time for the church to become … the light that illuminates the way and exposes the deception and the danger.”

His words cannot be more timely.
