Characteristics of the Jezebel Spirit

Hello, everyone. Wanda here. I know many of you are tired of exposure videos, I understand. I get it, I’ve been getting the emails. I see your comments and your messages. It is an ongoing process and an ongoing every day news coming out and new stories coming out of all of the, sexual immorality, all of the compromise. It’s unending and it seems to be a moving target.

And so I understand the frustration. Well, I went to the Lord this week, and I asked for, any insight that he had as to how we can break through to see some resolution and even more importantly, how to get some unity. There’s a lot of confusion and growing division. Just because people are frustrated, and hurting.

Well, the Lord answered my prayers. And he showed me one thing that we need to be focusing on. One thing that he actually wants us to go back to, to center on. And if we do this, if we can focus together in this one thing, we’re going to build some momentum. We’re going to gain some unity, and we’re going to be able to see some breakthrough, to overcome some things, in the days ahead.

Now, the other thing that I want to talk about in this video is the spirit of Jezebel. But there’s been a lot of talk about Jezebel, and no doubt you’ve probably heard other teachers all probably good stuff. But in this one I really want to hone in on what does that look like in a church or on a leader?

Or more importantly, what if you are under, the spell or under the influence of Jezebel in a church, in a ministry, or can you recognize it on someone online? Well, I’m going to tell you exactly the different characteristics that you can be looking for. Most importantly, how you can get free. God wants to set you free. Some of you have been under the influence of this spirit.

You think it’s all you and it’s not. It is a demonic spirit that is on you, trying to harass you, trying to shame you. God wants to set you free. So that’s what’s going to be in today’s video. Stay tuned. We.

Well, as I said, when I went to prayer this week, I was really asking the Lord for some understanding as to how we could come into agreement because we know that this is a spiritual battle first and foremost. But, you know, our authority in prayer can only happen when we really are one in spirit, that we’re in agreement.

And right now, there’s a lot of Division I there’s so many different thoughts and ideas, confusion surrounding especially the exposures, different leaders who can we trust? You know, who do we listen to? Well, when I went to the Lord, I hadn’t realized. He said, there’s two issues that are running side by side, and they’re confusing each other. And the very first one is sexual immorality, which was the primary issue that came up when I had Casey.

Story broke over a year ago. That was the sin that was the message that we were getting was, there is there is sin in the camp. And that’s what the Lord wanted us to focus on. But then what happened is we dug deeper. You know, people were asking, well, how did we get here? How in the world could a ministry such as I have and a man like Mike Bickle fall into such gross sin?

And so you start digging deep into the whole prophetic history and all of a sudden prophecy, and anyone who claimed to be a prophet began to go under scrutiny and get examined. And so what’s ended up happening in subsequent months is we’ve got these two issues kind of running side by side. One is the sexual immorality that is is being exposed in many ministers and in ministries.

But then this whole prophetic integrity question has also entered the conversation almost everywhere. I think some of it is because some of these ministries and ministers do operate in the prophetic. And so and that has been a part of creating these toxic environment. So yes, we need understanding. There’s no question. But when I realized what the Lord was was showing me was these two issues have they’ve muddied the waters because there’s too much to process, and it has actually ended up sowing distrust because there’s so many unanswered questions about the prophetic.

And even yet, there’s still disagreement about what a false prophet is. And so we’re not getting any clarity. And so as I was going to the to the Lord, what I really felt, he said what we need to be focusing on and really what a rallying cry can be, is a righteous standard. This is really what has caused the righteous indignation.

Okay? And those who are reporting on these things, the zeal of the Lord, because this standard of holiness and righteousness, it has been defiled. And so this is what the cry is to, to call attention to this church. This is not who we should be. This should not be in the church house, which is right and good. And I felt that the Lord was saying, this is the issue that we need to kind of refocus on and come into agreement about.

Yes, prophetic integrity is important, and I’ll get to that in a minute. But one scripture that it brought to mind was Second Corinthians seven one, which says, since we have these promises, beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from every defilement of body and spirit, bringing holiness to completion in the fear of God. And I realized that even for those who might be weary, you know, of all the stories, you know, not everybody has to be a part of this process.

Not everyone has the grace for it. And that’s fine. But I felt like he was saying, if we can at least rally the troops, okay? And remember and remind one another, this is who God has called us to be a holy people. This is why we’re bringing attention to this. And I would hope any God fearing believer wants a righteous standard in the church.

As a matter of fact, this is what I see is uniting many who are online speaking about this. And I do want to just say this should be a unifying factor, because even as I’ve been, getting to know some of these other whistleblowers and truth tellers, you know, the reality is I don’t agree with them. And all of their, interpretations of Scripture, or even maybe in the prophetic at this point, it’s it’s not as critical.

You know, when you’re in when you’re in war wartime, you know, you got to target very specifically where the enemy is at. And sometimes there are side issue side battles that end up being distractions. And so this is I know for myself, this has been the instruction of the Lord to me, want to focus on a righteous standard who can stand with you that knows the Word of God.

That is the standard of righteousness by which I stand. Okay. And this is where I want to rally others to this standard of holiness and righteousness, because I feel like this is the priority. And I feel like if we can rally with this and this would be our prayer, our intent, we’re going to gain some momentum and see some change.

Now, obviously, prophecy is going to be a part of it. Okay. Now and I want to read another scripture. I do want to draw attention, however, in terms of this righteous standard, because this is for some of you, if you’re watching or you’re you might be agreeing with me and like, yes, please, would you stop, you know, telling all these stories or keep focusing on this?

The Lord led me, however, to revelation two, where, the apostle John, he talks about Jezebel and the Lord took me back to this.

Of course. You know, the prophetic voices. We’re bringing this scripture up a long time ago. And, I mean, it’s it’s a familiar passage, but there’s something that really stood out to me this time. It says, but I have this against you that you tolerate that woman Jezebel, who calls herself a prophetess and is teaching and seducing my servants to practice sexual immorality and to eat food sacrificed to idols.

This is exactly what we’re seeing. This is what’s being exposed. Okay, now, it’s not a woman, Jezebel. It’s the spirit of Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess. This is. This is two things here. You who tolerated. Unfortunately, this is what I’m seeing. This is what we’re seeing. And why this issue is not being moved forward is because it’s one thing to come to a point where you can absolutely verify, okay, this was sin.

I mean, the third party investigation has proven it. This is out, right? Okay. Now that has to be dealt with. But there are still those who they’re not convinced or worse yet, those who have seen the evidence, those who have realized what’s going on. And yet have put up with it, given grace, you know, decided to give it a time.

Okay, this is what you call tolerating. This is this is what the Lord is pointing to you who tolerate that woman, that spirit of Jezebel. This is what the Lord is going after. He. He doesn’t even want us to tolerate it. And this is what’s been happening. I mean, and this is unfortunately a repeated pattern that is coming out, in a lot of these stories is that people have tolerated it.

And listen, people of God, this is why we can’t tolerate I don’t want to tolerate it. I don’t I don’t want it because what we’re doing, we’re giving room for it and we are reaping the consequences. And it’s dangerous. But in this prophecy, notice prophecy is a part of this. And that’s why this whole sort, you know, side issue of prophetic integrity is so closely aligned.

But what what this reveals is prophecy is only a ruse to seduce you. The real sin is sexual immorality. That’s why I felt like the Lord was saying, you need to focus in on a righteous standard, on righteousness and holiness and purity. That is the rallying cry and that’s calling people up to purity, to holiness prophecy. Yes, we know we’ve got a lot of cleanup to do in the prophetic camp.

Okay. But in this context, notice in revelation 221, the Lord himself said, I gave her time to repent, but she refuses to repent of her sexual immorality, not repenting of her wrong prophecies, repenting of the sexual immorality. I feel like this is what the Lord is calling us to, to repent of the sexual immorality, to repent that we’ve tolerated it, to repent, for ignoring it, for not recognizing it.

Okay, because this is collective, you know, this is where intercession takes on a whole new meaning because you may not have been involved in it. But if we’ve been complicit, turning a blind eye, not knowing. Now, I’m not saying everyone’s guilty, but we can all be a part of standing in the gap. Okay, and saying, yes, Lord, we repent.

And to repent, we know, means not only to acknowledge the sin and and, you know, be sorry for that, truly grievous for that. But then we turn from that, we stop doing it, okay? And deal with it. Wow. In other words, the sooner that we deal with this, the sooner that we acknowledge it. The sooner that we see some resolution, the sooner that we agree on what’s happening, that this is of the Lord, that we’ll do our part. We can only do our part, but we can’t complain about others who are doing their part. We need to pray for all those who are on the front lines.

Pray for those who are here on YouTube. You know, for whatever reason, it has come into the public sphere like this. And yes, there are many on YouTube who are crying out for this. And and I understand the frustration because there’s a lot of voices. And, you know, the fact is, there’s no standards here for how you put out a YouTube video.

There’s, you know, for the most part, people don’t know each other. Now, thankfully, the interesting thing is that it’s already been happening behind the scenes. I referenced it in other videos that behind the scenes there are, you know, some of us who are just being drawn together by the spirit because of our mutual desire, you know, the fear of the Lord and our desire to do this with integrity and in truth.

And there’s much fellowship happening behind the scenes that that’s not online praying for each other, communicating with each other. And to me, that’s an indicator. The Lord is drawing us together. Those that really have that righteous standard in their heart. Okay, now there’s a lot of rogue voices too, and that’s a part, you know, for you who are watching, you know, you need to discern who you’re watching, who you’re listening to, because there’s channels out there that they’re just, you know, copying other channels and reacting to someone else’s material and or else just repeating the same story over and over again.

And, you know, we just really need to pray that the Holy Spirit would guide this process because it can be very confusing. And because there’s a lot of editorializing, a lot, a lot of commentary. You know, we we need evidence. We need hardcore, you know, testimonies, which thankfully, you know, some of these channels have have been sharing testimonies.

It’s not easy. You know, this is not for the faint of heart, for sure. But the Lord has called us in this time. It’s sanctification. The church is under the knife. You know, we’re feeling that sharp edge, but yet we have to allow him to do this process. It’s going to be for our good, you know.

Hallelujah. It is. He he’s he’s cleaning it out. But this invitation to to pray for one another and just to stand in the gap, you know, acknowledge the sins, clean us up. Lord, help us to do this better. Because I really I actually just saw even the Lord is like he was looking through a camera lens and he was like, zooming past all those that were blatant, easy to see.

You knew that they were intentionally sinning and they need to be dealt with. But I felt like he was going to go dig a little more for those who are here, maybe not themselves blatantly doing it, but they were tolerating it. So that’s why we need to pray.

Church leaders, ministry leaders, you know, God doesn’t delight in taking down ministries. He doesn’t delight in this. And we shouldn’t either, by the way. We should. And that’s a word the Lord gave me two years ago. Do not delight in the destruction of the wicked. If we’re going to have God’s heart in this, we have to have God’s heart of love and mercy and compassion.

Because many times these predators, they did not start out that way, that they they got under the influence of a Jezebel somewhere. And we need to pray, you know, through this whole thing. So what I’m going to do, and again, you can go find this word here on my blog and don’t forget the prayer guide. And so again, this is an encouragement.

Let’s rally around the righteous standard, the holiness of God. Yes, I pray we all want that. Okay. Regardless of what level you get involved in these online discussions and listen to the testimonies. Just just pray for those who are covering these that that we would have integrity and love in what we do. But what I want to share with you.

Okay. And this was I I’d forgotten about. The Lord reminded me five years ago. I made a series. It’s a video series, based upon my my teaching and my testimony. Getting free from the religious Jezebel and Leviathan spirits. Now, I share my whole testimony. I went through deliverance a number of years ago, and, the Lord taught me so many things, and so I.

I teach it because I want others to get free. I was under these spirits and I didn’t even know it. And so this whole, teaching series, it’s five sessions. The first one, I just share my testimony and then the others are talking about, you know, how can a Christian be demonized? I show you scripturally how that can happen.

I was shocked when I went back and I listened to it today, because what we’re going through right now, I’m listening now, you know, five years later to how I described it back then and I’m like, oh my goodness.

Wow. You’re going to see some similar I mean, it’s going to be so obvious. But I go past just defining, you know, scripturally what who Jezebel is, what it looks like, that spirit, how it acts. I detail then if you have come under that spirit, what you will feel if you’re in an atmosphere where Jezebel is working, what’s going to manifest, how it’s going to affect you mentally, spiritually, emotionally, and it’s going to be very instructive for you.

And so I want you to listen to it, but then stick with me and that because I’m going to come back with you then at the end and, and give you some other thoughts. And then I got a special, surprise for you. All right. So here’s a little taste of my session on the Jezebel spirit.

But in this session we’re going to be focusing on Jezebel. Jezebel gets a lot of attention. And again, I’m not going to do a complete teaching as some might do on all the aspects of Jezebel, but pretty much the things that stood out to me in my own journey as I’ve prayed through this with some other individuals. And just as I had said, that the religious spirit seeks to deny or resist the Holy Spirit, Jezebel really ends up counterfeiting the Holy Spirit because Jezebel loves and embraces spiritual power.

And and so she wants to gain power. She wants to gain influence and basically exert control. So, a Jezebel spirit is very much active in the spiritual realm, even in the supernatural realm. That’s why Jezebel is often given to witchcraft, because it does have to do oftentimes with manipulating spiritual gifts. For another end. And so what I’ve written here is something that the Lord led me to was to even go beyond Jezebel as we read about, in the Old Testament.

But she was actually personified, in a different spirit called Ashtaroth, which was a demonic principality that was known at that time, and it was referred to, in Kings, because Ashtaroth was actually already known as a chief goddess of the Phoenicians and male, Bayle was the male counterpart of this principality. And so you see there in first Kings 11 five, Solomon mentioned this Ashtaroth the goddess of this pseudo audience.

And if you read in history and more biblical background, this principality is even referred to as the Queen of Heaven. The prophet Jeremiah referred to Ashtaroth that way, and she was known to be the goddess of love and war and was, associated with fertility personified through Jezebel. This spirit seeks to mark and pervert God’s holiness, purity, and plan to reproduce godly offspring.

Now this is key and understanding Jezebel, because there’s always, an immorality that enters in and sexual undertones, seduction undertones. It’s going to look different on different people. But this spirit truly does mark and pervert the holiness of God. Anything that God has established is pure to and holy. Jezebel wants to mark, degrade, and pervert. And so Jezebel seeks to counterfeit everything, counterfeit life, the fruitfulness.

Because this goes back to Ashtaroth and the whole idea of, you know, bringing godly offspring. Yeah, just Belle wants to reproduce, her evil and Jezebel also counterfeits, covenant and holiness. So these aspects, are a part, you know, witchcraft covens, they know the power of covens and covenant. And again, it’s a counterfeit of manipulating, the spiritual, realities.

And so Jezebel’s purpose is really to draw attention to herself and away from the Holy Spirit, though there may always be a spiritual and even supernatural element to the Spirit’s activity, it’s always twisted into counterfeit because it will never draw you closer to Jesus or the work of the cross. It will always draw attention to the spiritual gift, to that power, to that manifestation.

That’s where the focus is going to be. And oftentimes what I found is that when Jezebel is at work, you’re going to feel like there’s a power struggle. And that’s because Jezebel loves to compete. She wants to be first and she wants to be in control, where the religious spirit kind of puts a wet blanket, you know, on the work of the Holy Spirit, Jezebel competes, and you’re going to feel that in the spirit.

This this struggle, you know, for, to be top dog, so to speak. Now, Queen Jezebel demonstrated this with the prophet Elijah. She was extremely jealous of his gift. And we can see how her reactions to Elijah really illustrate how the Jezebel spirit will often attack us. And so I’ve listed some of these examples from Elijah the Prophet and how Jezebel interacted with him.

And it gives us some insight into how this spirit operates. So here you see, first, in First Kings 1813, Obadiah was telling, Elijah, has it not been told what I did when Jezebel killed off the prophets of the Lord? And basically Obadiah is telling Elijah, listen, I, I hid some of the true prophets while Jezebel killed all these, killed all the others off.

So again, Jezebel, wants to kill and destroy silence. The prophetic voice in First Kings 19 two, she accused and threatened. Of course, we know that Jezebel sent a messenger to Elijah saying, May the gods deal with me, be it ever so severely. If by this time tomorrow I do not make your life like that of one of them, I mean threats and accusations, is what Jezebel does.

And then she also exerts influence over authority. And this is also very classic of Jezebel. Jezebel, his wife said. And this is, you know, her husband Ahab, when he wasn’t doing things the way that she thought he should be doing them, she says to him, is this how you act as king over Israel? Get up and eat. Cheer up.

I’ll get you the vineyard of Naboth the Jezreel, right. So he was making a decision about something that she didn’t, she didn’t like. And so he she was manipulating him and trying to exert control over. Come on. You need to be doing this. You. If you’re really king, then do this. And so that’s just a form of manipulation.

And then we see how that ended up. Yeah. In the next couple of verses she manipulated leaders for her own purposes. Ahab was king. But it says the elders and nobles who lived in neighbor city did as Jezebel directed in the letters that she had written to them. In other words, this, this situation with Naboth, she just went ahead and took care of herself, and she assumed to have that authority that Ahab was supposed to have.

And so she was trying to get her way. And then first Kings 2125, she urged her husband to do evil. I mean, it says here that there was never a man like Ahab who sold himself to do evil in the eyes of the Lord, urged on by Jezebel his wife. So that’s very telling of the characteristics of Jezebel.

And then in second Kings nine, she used seduction to get her way. It says that when Jehu went to Jezebel and he was going to kill her, and when Jezebel heard about it, says she painted her eyes, arranged her hair, and looked out the window. Now wonder whether or not this was seduction. It could have been been mocking, you know, purity.

But she was very, outlandish and not afraid to use her wiles to seduce, to try to, get others under her spell. So you can see in the Old Testament, Jezebel, there’s some specific characteristics that we can learn from. But Jezebel is also mentioned in the New Testament. And the most telling scripture is in revelation when the apostle John refers to Jezebel as a principality.

And there’s some very interesting things that I saw when I first read this that, really caught my attention. Not only is it individual, but also as the church and how this spirit can infiltrate the church, because here, you know, the angel is telling this church, I know, and it’s at Thyatira. I know all the things you do your love, your faith, your service, and your patient endurance.

And I can see your constant improvement in all these things. You know, this this is pretty good, right? They’re getting a good report card is the church. They have love and faith service. That’s great. But says I have this complaint against you. You are permitting that woman, that Jezebel who calls herself a prophet to lead my servants astray.

Now, I highly doubt that he was really referring to one individual whose name was Jezebel. It’s pretty much implied that this is referring to the spirit of Jezebel. Whether or not it might have been through one person or through a group of people, it’s not clear, but it is definite that this is speaking to that Jezebel spirit that was at work within this church causing problems.

And so the prophet is saying, this spirit is claiming to be prophetic, but it’s leading people astray. It’s counterfeit. And then look at this. She is encouraging them to worship idols, eat food offered to idols, and commit such sexual sin. Well, if you put that in a modern context, encouraging them to worship idols, is this drawing away? It’s a seduction away from pure worship unto the Lord, eating food offered to idols as compromise and commit sexual sin.

Again, the spirit of seduction that is at work to try to lead people away from the true, gospel of Jesus. And then the prophet says, I gave her time to repent, but she would not turn away from her immorality. Therefore I will throw her upon a sick bed, and she will suffer greatly with all who commit adultery with her, unless they turn away from their evil deeds.

I will strike her children dead. And when I saw that, that really struck me as well, because here Jezebel and whoever’s operating in this was actually given an opportunity to repent. But because they didn’t, this actually brought upon them a curse, a spirit of infirmity. I will throw her upon a sick bed. That’s a curse. That’s a consequence of this deliberate and intentional rebellion against the Lord.

This individual or individuals were thrown upon a sick bed and suffered. And this is something that I have noted in working with those who have come under this spirit. Is it often times there is a spirit of infirmity at work, if not in them, in their family, where there seems to be this constant sickness going on and really a spirit of infirmity, the way that usually manifests is that there’s some kind of sickness, that maybe is treated, diagnosed and treated.

But then after a time it’s like, well, the medicine doesn’t work anymore. They go back and here they got a different diagnosis and now it’s a new thing. And they treat that for a while. They seem to overcome it. Then something new comes on. It seems to always be shifting. And that’s really descriptive of the spirit of infirmity because it seeks to camouflage itself.

Its all purpose is to just make you sick and to, you know, steal the life of God out of you. And so I’ve even seen, those who have been under this spirit, deal with that. And this is something we’re going to be praying into, is that if there is a spirit of, of infirmity at work in you or your family, and if it’s connected to this Jezebel spirit, we can renounce that and cut that off.

I’ve also noted that people, even within, spheres of government, even right now, and what we’re dealing with, across the nation, there are certain leaders who are manifesting this spirit, and I’ve just known by the spirit, and they won’t report it in the news. But I’ve often seen where this actually happens after a time where they are intentionally, operating in this, they get sick and you see it begin to manifest.

And I believe it’s all connected. So that’s something that we can certainly pray into. And perhaps if you have seen that in your own family, and even if it’s generational, because sometimes these are patterns that are passed on down. So we’re also going to have an opportunity to pray into that, that if there’s someone in your family that seems to be dealing with this because it will often manifest differently in different personalities, different individuals are vulnerable in different ways.

And so as we go through the checklist, you know, just be mindful of that. But when we repent and we turn away from these ways of approaching God and dealing with others, then those curses can be broken and we can be freed from the stronghold. So let’s move on. How does one become a Jezebel? You know, this is something that when I was going through my own deliverance process, you know, there’ve been a lot of books written about Jezebel, and I would go online and I would read articles, and I would read books, and the way that it always was written was, you know, that person who had Jezebel and this terrible person

who was trying to divide the church. And I never really, saw an examples of, you know, sincere believer that was just trying to walk with the Lord, but ended up becoming trapped because that was my story. And so I realized that, you know, a lot of times Jezebel’s are not these infiltrators and they’re not, you know, people that come in deliberately trying to cause harm, I believe, at least from my own experience, a lot of Jezebel’s are truly gifted individuals.

They have a calling, an anointing of God. But because there has been an unhealed wound or hurt from the past, everything gets twisted. So the common trigger that I see with this is that it often starts with an offense, with leadership. It often starts when a gifted leader rises in the ranks of the ministry or organization and gains favor.

They usually carry a strong anointing in their gift and even become an integral part of the bodies because they carry inherently God given influence and impact. However, if they harbor any resentment or offense towards an authority from their past and they’re still wounded, they’re open prey for Jezebel, because all it takes is a situation to happen that triggers what I call like an emotional echo.

It’s a familiar feeling or belief system that happened way back when, when they were first hurt, and it’s a familiar spirit that comes back and they begin to think, see, it’s happening again. They’re they’re coming after me again. They’re not accepting me. They’re going to hurt me. And it opens up this whole, scenario of unhealthy interactions and perspectives that are twisted.

And so this person begins to feel, you know, they’re silenced, they’re ignored. They’re not paid attention to they may feel misunderstood. And oftentimes because they’ve risen in the ranks and they already carry some influence. You know, this person might even feel like, well, now my whole call in destiny is on the line, and it’s your fault.

And so all of these things, you know, build a case for a Jezebel spirit to really come in and to begin to operate. That’s how it was in my own experience, without realizing that I still had unhealed wounds and hurts, from my early years. And it started with the religious spirit, because I had never really been dealt with at some of the deeper levels then.

All it took was a situation with my husband being the pastor of the church in my own growth, as a prophetic voice, that I begin to hit roadblocks and walls and I begin to feel like he wasn’t receiving, you know, all the words that I had, he wasn’t open to hearing, you know, the revelations that the Lord was giving me.

And it triggered those same things that I had felt early on in my formative years. And without realizing it, I begin to take on some of these characteristics in my own mind. I really thought that I was defending the Holy Spirit. I was spiritual izing it, not knowing that it was actually being influenced by demonic spirit. So as we read through, you know, these characteristics, I want you to consider you know, how Jezebel might be influencing your thoughts, your emotions, the choices that you’ve made.

And I want you to check anything, that might apply to you. So let’s let’s go through these. The first one is perhaps you feel as if your prophetic gifts or insights are always questioned. They’re not received. I mean, like.

That’s that’s what I felt like. Well, don’t you trust me? And why aren’t you, you know, doing something about this? Why aren’t you sharing this word that I just gave you? You know, if you see, that is a pattern, I would check that anyway, because, number one, if you’re not having a good track record, then you might want to, talk with your leader about that.

But at the same time, it could be a perception, and even a reality that they do feel a check about. Maybe not the revelation itself, but how you interpreting it and how you want to apply it. So just take note that if what you are sharing in your spiritual gifts and your intercession and your prophecy, if you keep feeling walls, check that, because that could show enemy interference.

Secondly, if you end up focusing on your supernatural gifts or encounters a lot and again, this is something, that I felt I was trying to do because I thought I needed to prove that God was speaking to me. And so I focused a lot of my dreams on the prophetic dreams that the Lord is giving me. I kept going back to that.

And what what this angel told me and what I saw, thinking that that was somehow going to win the day when in effect, it just ended up adding pressure to the pastor to accept me. So if that’s a focus that you’re always wanting to bring attention to your gifts, that’s not healthy, because the fact is, gifts are only one aspect.

It’s really our character and how we’re walking through these things. That really is the measure of our maturity. The third thing is, perhaps you adapt your conversations to put yourself in a favorable light, maybe even changing the context or the facts from one person to another. If it sounds a little better. We don’t realize sometimes when you do that.

And again, I fell into this because it was I was afraid. I was afraid I was going to be disqualified depending on who I shared something with. And so there would be times that I would share different things in a different way, not realizing that I was really picking and choosing and actually opening up the door to deception and even manipulation, which again, is not healthy.

The next thing has to do with our discernment, the spirit. Because and this really has to do with any time there is a demonic stronghold at work, you know, a demon, when a demon is involved, it’s like it’s like there’s a screen door in front of us and that demonic spirit becomes a filter. And anything that we say or do, it passes through that filter.

And so anybody that’s receiving it, it’s it’s going to go through that demonic spirit filter and it’s going to get twisted. Something’s just going to be off and we don’t even realize it. The same thing happens on the other side. When people speak to us, it goes through that filter. By the time it reaches our ears, it’s gotten twisted and contorted.

And so our spiritual discernment is really off. This is why it’s so important, especially as intercessors and prophetic voices, that we are clear of any kind of other filters that we can really hear and perceive accurately what the Lord is saying. Next one is you struggle with sexual temptations, and this has to do, you know, with, again, the nature of the Jezebel spirit.

Now, this might not look the same way on everyone. For me, it wasn’t as much, you know, overt. It actually came out more in my dreams. But there might be temptations that you have. Or perhaps you might, you know, dress more in a suggestive way. And it’s this, desire to win over people’s approval or attention.

And if you’re a female, you know, you want to win over your pastor. These are probably very, subconscious things that are done. But if there’s any any hint of that, you want to check that off, perhaps you doubt or mock the message of holiness. Now this again can happen when you’re focusing so much on the spiritual gift and not on your character.

I’ve seen some people, and maybe, you know, of some teachers and leaders in the body of Christ that have focused so much on their spiritual gift, they’ve exempted themselves from a standard of righteousness and holiness, and even to the point where they begin to market and say, that’s not even needed. You know, you don’t need to worry about that because we’ve got God’s revelation here.

Again, that’s very dangerous. That is not God’s heart. And that would be Jezebel at work. The next one, as you struggle with defilement or an unclean spirit. This is also something I’ve seen that attaches itself because of Jezebel, that unclean spirit. And like I said, for me, it came in through dreams. If you just, you might have dreams, of just unclean things.

And it’s like it just comes out of nowhere, you know, that’s obviously the enemy showing up in the night time. But yet the Lord is saying, you need to pay attention to this, in that unclean spirit and defilement, perhaps you dishonor authority behind closed doors. You might submit outwardly, but on the inside you’re really criticizing. You want to check that off, and then you might want to rally others around your cause.

That’s Jezebel’s efforts at reproducing herself because you feel like you got to, you know, no one’s speaking up for me, so I need to win people to my side. And again, there was some manipulation there, some underhanded kinds of things that are not healthy for the body of Christ. If you feel like you’re trying to build a case, for yourself.

And so that’s not healthy. Now, there’s additional things that I have here are actually things that happened to Elijah. And these might be some additional effects that you feel, that when you’re being oppressed by this spirit or even when you’re in, if you’re in a system or a church body where this is in operation, because I’ve seen this happen to where different members will feel these things and they’re like, why do I feel this way?

So let’s look at some of these. A desire to run from the battle, especially when emotionally or physically tired. The desire to just get away becomes a very strong well. This is exactly what Elijah did. I mean, he just won the battle on Mount Carmel. All it took was Jezebel to threaten him one time and he ran. He wanted to go as far away as possible.

And so if you if you find yourself there, it’s just like, I just. I can’t deal with this. I got to get away. I want to run away. You don’t want to deal with it. That could be because Jezebel is in the house. Perhaps you have a desire to isolate. This spirit is going to pull you away from the body and cause you to feel alone.

You just want to be by yourself. Exactly what Elijah did. He just retreated to his cave. He didn’t want to talk to anybody. He didn’t want to be with anybody. But all that does is open the door to a pity party and so if you find yourself pulling away, that’s not healthy, because when when this is going on, you need to be in the body to find healing.

Perhaps you’ve got feelings of quitting or just depression. You don’t have any strength to go on. It may even manifest physically as depression. You feel empty or void of anything spiritual. You might experience fatigue or even physical, weakness. And then this again is how Elijah felt. You know, when he was in the cave, he just wanted to give up.

He was depressed. He was tired, physically exhausted, or perhaps feeling out of control without any choice. I mean, Elijah was convinced I’m the only one left, just like he was hopeless. It’s like there’s no there’s no way out. You’re out of control. Well, that’s because Jezebel is speaking. And then lastly, as I had alluded to before, if you’re dealing with sicknesses or infirmities, they just continually distract you and wear you down again, it might be because Jezebel is at work literally trying to suck the life out of you, so that you can’t even, you know, fulfill your purpose in God.

So I hope that that was helpful. That was just a portion of session three, my series, on getting free from the religious Jezebel Leviathan spirit. Maybe you didn’t expect, you know, to be asked the question, how does one become a Jezebel? I hope that was instructive for you, because that really is, there’s been a consistent thing that I have seen in so many of the even with perpetrators that are coming forward and these who are being caught, you hear their stories and their background.

So many times they were abused as a child, or they were impacted early on. And it creeps in. I mean, it to me, it just shows how important it is that we keep ourselves free. And I hope you caught the the whole reason I created that series. You know, the majority of my ministry has actually been in worship, but also prophetic intercession.

And I, I hold a conviction. It’s a reality. It’s a spiritual and scriptural principle of agreement and prayer and authority over the enemy can only happen when we have gotten free ourselves. Okay? If we want to pray against a religious spirit, then we’ve got to be free of that spirit ourselves. And so that’s the whole purpose. Why I taught this series was because I want you to be powerful and effective in your prayers.

And just like me, I didn’t know that I was being affected by these spirits, and I didn’t know they were even limiting my prayers. But they were. Because when I got set free and delivered, oh my goodness. I mean the fruit. It became evident because I had authority. The enemy had no hold on me anymore. I recognized him and I could deal with it early on.

And so that’s why I want you to to have access. Because in all of those sessions, then, I go on and I pray a prayer, that if you have been affected, you know, by this in any way, I pray prayers with you. I give you scriptures, so that you can, you know, know where to stand and what’s true to to begin that process of deliverance and healing is really a renewing of the mind as well, because you’re you’re displacing lies with the truth.

And, I mean, I just talked the other day with someone who who was describing her experience, and I was like, she was under demonic spirit, she was under the Jezebel spirit. And so I really feel like this can help set you free because some of you, you may even be thinking, this is all you, you know, that it’s your fault.

Why do I feel depressed? Why do I why do I feel like I don’t want to talk to anybody? You know, a shame you could be under that. That spirit. And the Lord wants to set you free. That alone could could just really open things up for you where you you can actually move forward. So I, I would really encourage you.

So it’s easy for a group to go through as well. So, we need to get free because this spirit, we cannot tolerate it any more. People. She has been at work. I mean, obviously there’s a lot of other, you know, enemies at work as well. We know that it’s not just one thing, but this, again, was just based upon what I felt.

The Lord put my spirit here this week. As I went before him. My encouragement. Let’s rally together around a righteous cause. Let’s overturn, you know, this spirit of Jezebel, this compromise, the rebellion, all that you know comes through humility of heart. We just humble ourselves before the throne of grace. That is the best posture to take at this point, to pray that we would be free, that we would be clear, and then pray for others who are on the front lines, those who are dealing with these things.

I can tell you it is not easy to there’s a lot of these whistleblowers, okay? And podcasters who are getting inundated with stories and testimonies that are heart wrenching, and yet they’re not. They can’t share these stories. It belongs to that person. And so this is this is a challenge, is that we’re trying to steward these things rightly.

Okay. Because I can tell you, you know, those who really have this righteous standard, you know, I’ll speak for myself. I’m not doing this thing. It clicks. I want to see the church healthy again.
