Britain’s Rape Gang Scandal Reveals a Nation Hypnotized by Wicked Post-Christian Ideology
One of the greatest scandals since the second World War is currently unfolding in the United Kingdom: the systematic rape of some 250,000 working-class, mostly white girls at the hands of Muslim Pakistani gangs. It has been going on for more than a decade; our first reports date from 2011, but all were aggressively swept under the rug by politicians eager to hide the effects of mass immigration and Hoover up Muslim votes. Police offered no protection to these British citizens. The Daily Telegraph reports:
As the Jay Inquiry into Rotherham found in 2014, in at least two cases fathers tracked down their daughters and attempted to remove them from the houses where they were being abused.
The police arrested the fathers.
This scandal involves a series of complex issues, all difficult to unravel except at book length (see The Strange Death of Europe by Douglas Murray).
- What is Islam?
- What is its relationship with the West?
- What lies behind multiculturalism?
- What is wokeness?
- Who is behind mass immigration?
- How does the English class system cover up the sacrifice of the most vulnerable?
- What is thought crime?
- How has the media managed to brainwash so many people for so long using the threat of thought crime?
Remember the scene in Tolkien’s The Two Towers where Gandalf frees King Theoden from Saruman’s enchantment? Something of that kind is happening now in Britain, thanks not to one man but two: Elon Musk and Jordan Peterson.
You Can’t Cancel Elon
Musk is using the fact that he cannot be cancelled, not to mention the power of X, to draw the world’s attention to this. Thanks to his purchase of X, the truth about this — and many other things — can now be told and tested in real time by average people, not media elites. Meanwhile, Jordan Peterson gave Robinson a platform to explain himself, and that gave millions of ordinary people the opportunity to make up their own minds about what kind of man he is.
Who is Tommy Robinson, you ask? He is a white, working-class, football-supporting man from Luton who 15 years ago grew outraged by the rape culture that emerged there after it was flooded with Islamic immigrants. Due to the threats of being seen as anti-Islamic bigots, police would not protect the local white population, so some of the men — which included white, black, and Asian people — tried to defend themselves.
Robinson was soon demonized as a far-right, xenophobic, fascist, racist thug. There was enough truth in this to make it stick. He was not of the Left; he was a man of the streets, and tough. But he also was surrounded by black and Asian childhood friends. He was outraged not by immigration or racial mixture, but by Islam and the two-tiered system of justice that allowed Islamic criminals to go free while native Britons were punished for speaking out.
The establishment every quickly realized that Robinson was a serious threat. The authorities examined his private life with meticulous forensic analysis, and the police began to arrest him on sight. His infractions were criminalized; some were ambiguous, others were fabricated. His opposition and protest were politicized by the state. The intention was to silence his outrage at the police’s complicity with the rape of the women of his race and class. He now sits in prison in solitary confinement, surrounded by violent, largely Muslim criminals, for questionable and non-violent offenses.
Robinson was rendered so toxic that anybody associated with him in any way would find themselves cancelled by all people of good taste and moral virtue. The media made him out to be the incarnation of evil. Like Trump Derangement Syndrome in the U.S., many Britons found themselves no longer able to access rational thoughts, clinical information, or unbiased responses when Robinson’s name was mentioned, but instead started howling with rage, venom, and vitriol.
Jordan Peterson Intervenes
Perhaps the only person in the world who could give Tommy Robinson a path toward social redemption was Jordan Peterson. And he did — inviting him onto his podcast to explain all his efforts to expose the Pakistani Muslim rape gangs in his own country.
And with that, the spell began to break.
But the question remains: Why were so many people under it in the first place? People knew about the rape gangs, though few took the reports seriously.
Racism Is the Only Evil
The ground was set by laying the foundations for the Left’s thought crime project. Racism is the most terrifying weapon in this armory. No one knows what it is, because there is no definition of “race.” Neither the gradations of skin color, DNA, or language offer hard and fast definitions. The normal ubiquitous fear of “the stranger” — which characterizes almost all of humanity, from the different people in the next village to the tribes on the other side of the world — is weaponized to make everyone anxious about differences, and automatically guilty of committing an -ism.
No one really knows why both mass immigration and multiculturalism have been imposed on the West. There are economic reasons, like pension crises and falling birth rates, but the crushing of free speech in Britain is something that should never happen in a democratic society.
An ever more totalitarian Left has forged a kind of Molotov-Ribbentrop Pact with insurgent Islam, aimed against the West. Britain is experiencing this just at the moment it has abandoned Christianity and adopted the incoherence of secular relativism.
You Are Not Permitted to Notice
The UK authorities’ terror took two forms, one pragmatic and the other psychological.
The pragmatic one was that Robinson was not the only person enraged to see working-class white people dispossessed of their towns, houses, schools, hospitals, and jobs. Official memos keep appearing which suggest the authorities struggled with constant anxiety over their need to keep the lid on the people’s rage.
The other was the terror of being accused of racism or Islamophobia. No one can defend himself against the accusation that his thoughts are politically impure or improper. And the sanction is the modern version of excommunication: being fired, cancelled, fined, or even imprisoned for dissident social media posts.
In this atmosphere, silence about the fate of the white working-class girls was made easier by the social snobbery of both the British political elite and the aspiring bourgeoisie. They could protect themselves by “slut-shaming” the girls and surrendering them to the feral Pakistani mob. And they never hesitated for a second.
We know now that for the last 10 years, a small number of courageous people — victims, politicians, and observers — have protested the police’s inaction in this matter. They’ve alleged that former Prime Minister Gordon Brown sent memos to police chiefs warning them not to investigate the complaints.
One of those commentators was Raja Miah, a gay Christian convert from Islam who accuses the Labour Party of covered up the industrial rape of white working-class British girls in order to secure votes from Muslim communities. He claims that “Labour were at the centre of the grooming gang cover up.”

“Working-class white girls were sacrificed because they didn’t matter enough,” he said. They were “sacrificed for the achievement of political power by the left.”
Reaching Critical Mass
In facing the fear of cancellation, ridicule and guilt by association, we must achieve a critical mass that can offer protection. Musk changed the dynamics by allowing X to become a place where the momentum of disgust, horror, and outrage slowly but surely began to outweigh the fear of the accusations of racism and islamophobia. It became a place where the compact between British social snobbery and the socialist lust for power could be exposed, evaluated, and judged.
Slowly but surely in the last few weeks, mainstream politicians have decided it is in their interests to break the spell and denounce this police-enabled crime wave rather than fear the consequences.
The Labour Government fails to understand that a shift has taken place. They believe that guilt by association and social toxification can still be used as weapons to hide their compact with the rape gangs. They are risking everything by doubling down and refusing any further public inquiries.
Elon Musk and Jordan Peterson have given Britons the opportunity to tell the truth about what’s going on. They have exposed the myth of multiculturalism as an ideal and the destruction of indigenous culture that follows open-borders policies The have exposed mendacity, hypocrisy, the naked pursuit of power, cowardice, fear, and hatred.
Jesus promised that “the truth will set you free.” We are waiting to see if Britain’s leaders want either truth or freedom. The outcome hangs in the balance.
