Pray: Amtrak Train Derails in Washington State
An Amtrak train in Washington state derailed today. At least one car fell to an interstate highway from an overpass, blocking the road, reported Fox News.
The Amtrak train derailed on Interstate 5 near Mounts Road in Pierce County, a tweet by the Washington State Department of Transportation revealed. WSDOT cautioned drivers to avoid the area. Amtrak tweeted that they “are aware of an incident involving Amtrak train 501.” Amtrak promised to update with details as they became available.
It is not known at this time what caused the derailment or if there are injuries. Please pray for those involved.
