#AbortedLivesMatter Tweetfest Brings Attention to Abortion
Life matters. Life needs to be protected. However, there are many in our culture that focus on protecting all but our most vulnerable — the unborn. It is time to remind the world that aborted lives matter.
Last week, the Media Research Center exposed the mainstream media’s willingness to turn a blind eye on the horrors going on at Planned Parenthood clinics. Today, they have done something to raise awareness, to illustrate that we will not let the issue be ignored. They arranged a “tweetfest” to promote #AbortedLivesMatter. Christian Robey, Political Director at the MRC, said:
The #AbortedLivesMatter tweetfest is a small way ordinary Americans can remember abortion’s innocent victims. The pre-born babies whose tiny, bloody bodies appeared in pie dishes in the Center for Medical Progress’ undercover videos were members of the human family. Because we cannot give these children the proper burials they deserve, the very least we can do is call attention to their unjust, unfair deaths, and demand that the liberal media report the truth about Planned Parenthood and the human rights abuses it commits.
Here are some of the best tweets of the fest, so far:
Sometimes the worst tragedies get the least attention. Time to fix that. #AbortedLivesMatter pic.twitter.com/AyHdYVJ6dT
