SOUTH LYON (WXYZ) – U.S. Army veteran Abner Gonzalez walked into Pet Supplies Plus in South Lyon thinking he was there to talk about Dogs on Deployment.

It’s a nonprofit that takes care of dogs while their military owners are deployed.
