President Donald Trump revealed the specific details of his summit with Kim Jong Un Thursday.

“The highly anticipated meeting between Kim Jong Un and myself will take place in Singapore on June 12th,” the president tweeted, adding, “We will both try to make it a very special moment for World Peace!”

The announcement follows the release of three American prisoners from North Korea, what the White House calls a “gesture of goodwill.” After welcoming the three men home, Trump told the press that the U.S. and North Korea are “starting off on a new footing.”

“I think this will be a very big success. It’s never been taken this far, there’s never been a relationship like this. Some great things can happen, and that’s what we hope,” he added.

Trump will be the first sitting U.S. president to meet with a North Korean leader.
