Three DC Teens Brutally Beat Another Teen on Top of a Fire Truck

Firefighters in Washington, D.C were forced to call police for back-up Thursday after three boys started beating another boy on top of their firetruck.

The firetruck was stopped at a stoplight when the boy, being chased by the three attackers, ran toward it, WUSA reports. The boy, apparently seeking help from the firefighters, climbed on top of the truck.

The three attackers followed the other boy on top of the truck and started beating him with what appears to be a piece of wood.

When police arrived they charged one of the attackers, a juvenile, with assault with a dangerous weapon, and the other two adults with simple assault.

Earlier in the day Thursday, just a few blocks from where the incident took place, Mayor Muriel Bowser announced a new plan to combat violent crime in the city.

That announcement was interrupted by Black Lives Matter protesters who were upset because Bowser’s plan included putting more police officers on the streets in that very same neighborhood.
