After a tragic mishap left teenager Taylor Hale in a coma, doctors declared she was brain-dead and her family all but gave up hope.

But she made a miraculous recovery, and now the inspiring 17-year-old is celebrating her recent high school graduation.

“It was a struggle for me and my family,” Hale told Uma Pemmaraju on “America’s News Headquarters” today. “I didn’t know what was going on. I had [woken] up in kind of a panic and shock, not knowing what was going on because I didn’t remember anything.”

“It was just a tough struggle and fighting process throughout the whole entire stay at the hospital. It was a crazy experience, but I’m glad I’m still here today.”
