Sinjar Has Been Liberated from ISIS, Kurds Say

The leader of Iraqi Kurds declared Friday that the Iraqi town of Sinjar has been liberated from ISIS militants.

The victory in Sinjar is a milestone that will contribute to an eventual liberation of the ISIS-occupied Iraqi city of Mosul, said Masoud Barzani, leader of the Kurdish Regional Government in Iraq.
