Secularist Group Demands Removal of ‘God Bless the Military’ Sign from Marine Base

The Military Religious Freedom Foundation (MRFF) sent an email to military commanders Thursday to complain about a sign on a Marine base that reads “God bless the military.”

The base in question is the Marine Corps Base Hawaii, which houses 9,517 troops and their families. The sign, which was installed in the wake of the 9/11 attacks, reads in its entirety “God bless the military, their families, and the civilians who work with them.”
