Ronda Rousey Donates UFC Championship Belt to Children’s Judo School

By Published on August 6, 2015

Ronda Rousey is leaving it all in Brazil. Three days after defeating Brazilian fighter Bethe Correia at UFC 190 on Saturday, she paid a visit to Instituto Reação, a children’s judo school in Rio de Janeiro, where she donated her championship belt.

The school, which is a non-governmental social project that gives hundreds of children judo lessons, holds a special place in Rousey’s heart. In March, while training to fight Correia, she donated $30,000 to them and gave judo lessons to locals.

On Tuesday, her donation was something even more special: her UFC 190 championship belt.
