President Donald Trump has narrowed down his list of potential Supreme Court nominations to three candidates.

With four days remaining until Trump makes an expected selection announcement, his choice to replace retiring Justice Anthony Kennedy is down to three federal appeals judges: Amy Coney Barrett, Brett Kavanaugh and Raymond Kethledge, reported The Associated Press.

Fox News’ John Roberts tweeted of the short-list Thursday, saying Kethledge of the 6th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals and Kavanaugh of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit are the apparent front-runners.

Since Kennedy’s retirement was first announced, Kavanaugh has been considered the most likely choice. However, there has also been an anti-Kavanaugh campaign among some conservatives, stemming from concerns regarding his record and ties with former President George W. Bush.
