Police arrested a suspect connected with a series of suspicious packages that were found at military bases in the Washington, D.C., area, according to a Tuesday report.

The suspect, who has not yet been named, is expected to appear in court Tuesday after suspicious packages were left at Fort Belvoir, Fort McNair, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling and the Naval Surface Warfare Center, CBS News reported.

One of the individual packages tested positive for gun powder and also had a fuse. Another, contained a circuit board and a vial filled with an unidentified liquid. Several of the packages also reportedly contained letters, which one official described to NBC as “disturbing.”

The FBI is in possession of the packages and is currently trying to determine if they could have exploded. It is unclear how agents have found the possible suspect, as it remains an ongoing investigation.

“The FBI responded to multiple government facilities today for the reports of suspicious packages,” the bureau said in a statement. “Each package was collected for further analysis by the FBI.”

Officials told Fox News that they fear more suspicious packages could still be out there.
