Multiple Deaths as Tornadoes, Severe Storms Slam South, Midwest

Tornadoes and severe storms slammed parts of the South and Midwest Wednesday leaving at least 6 dead—including a 7-year-old boy in Mississippi—and injuring at least 40 others.

Officials in Mississippi have confirmed that three people were killed Wednesday evening in Benton County and Marshall County in connection with the severe weather that swept through the area.
