Corpsman Examines North Vietnamese Helmet, 21 May 1968

Captured Gear: Hospitalman James E. Stanley, a corpsman attached to the 1st Platoon of M Company, 3d Battalion, 1st Marines [M/3/1] examines a North Vietnamese helmet and entrenching tool that the platoon found after overrunning an enemy bunker position on Hill 512, southeast of Khe Sanh (official USMC photo by Lance Corporal J.
