Jets Waiting to Fuel, 9 July 1968
“Waiting to Fuel: Skyhawk attack jets of Marine Attack Squadron 311 [VMA-311] based at Chu Lai, wait to be fueled by Marine Aircraft Group 12 [MAG-12] Tactical Airfield Fuel Dispensing System, a jet aircraft filling station. Supporting units of MAG-12 make it possible for a jet to land, refuel, re-arm, and be airborne within 20 minutes (official USMC photo by 1st Lieutenant Joe Collins).”
