If you listen to politicians and brief news reports about Afghanistan, you probably won’t hear much about U.S. troops heading to the country rather than coming home. Yet as we can see above, this U.S. Army unit is just starting its fourth Afghanistan deployment. Our thoughts, prayers and heartfelt thanks are with these brave men and women and their families.
