The Kendrick brothers were among the first filmmakers to carve out a coveted space in the Christian movie world, producing well-known faith films like “Flywheel,” “Courageous,” “Fireproof” and “Facing the Giants.”
And now Alex and Stephen Kendrick are back with “War Room,” a feature film that they say will teach audiences about the power of “prayer and repentance,” while also showing “[God’s] people how to fight in prayer.”
The brothers believe that part of their success has been rooted in the fact that they spend a great deal of time between films — which, to date, have all advanced biblical lessons — trying to figure out which subject they should tackle next, they told The Church Boys podcast.
