GOP Steps Up Threats to Halt Syrian Refugees
Key Republican lawmakers began amplifying calls Monday to halt the resettlement of thousands of Syrian refugees into the United States — with some threatening to use a must-pass spending bill next month to force the Obama administration’s hand on the issue in the wake of the Paris terror attacks.
