First Family Lights National Christmas Tree

The National Christmas tree was lit up for the holiday season Thursday.

The tree was lit just after 5 p.m.

Actress Reese Witherspoon hosted the ceremony, featuring the First Family and celebrity guests on the White House Ellipse.
