Cal Thomas began his nearly 40-year journalism career as a copyboy for NBC News in his native Washington, D.C. He also has worked as a general assignment reporter and anchor for KPRC-TV in Houston and for NBC News in Washington.

For two years Cal Thomas hosted his own show on CNBC. It was nominated for a Cable Ace award as the best interview program on cable. He is a commentator/analyst for the Fox News Channel and appears weekly as a panelist on Fox News Watch.
