Atheists Claim Bible Calls for ‘Killing Nonbelievers’ — But These Pastors and Theologians Have a Tough Message for Them

Atheist activists have embarked on a campaign to encourage U.S. hotels to offer Bible-free accommodations, claiming that the Judeo-Christian scriptures call “for killing nonbelievers, apostates, gays, ‘stubborn sons’ and women who transgress biblical double standards.”

But are these claims accurate? According to some of the theologians and pastors we spoke with: absolutely not.
