ANALYSIS: Iran’s Aggressive Actions Reveal What’s Next
When dealing with the Islamic Republic of Iran, the world’s top state sponsor of terrorism, hope is not a policy. Now that Tehran stands ready to benefit from a gift of $150 billion and the gutting of a vital arms embargo, it is emboldened.
For proof we need only examine Iran’s actions since signing the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA). In the immediate aftermath of the deal Iran was caught in the act of sanitizing its suspected nuclear military site at Parchin. Satellite imagery from mid and late July shows heavy machinery and bulldozers destroying evidence before the onset of IAEA inspections, which will absurdly allow Iran to collect its own soil samples for examination.
Tehran has already shown it will continue cheating international accords, executing brutal human rights violations and clinging to aggressive rhetoric taking aim at the United States. Iran’s wanton and flagrant behavior post-deal is already accelerating beyond the nuclear cheating.
Indeed, Iran’s foreign policy is devoid of respect for international agreements or the notion of human rights, and is based upon the premise of cheating and terror.
