Israel’s Foreign Ministry reacted to what it called a “horrible headline” that the American CBS news outlet composed following a Jerusalem terror attack on Wednesday.

“3 Palestinians killed as daily violence grinds on,” read the CBS headline. At around 5:30 p.m. Israel time, CBS changed the headline to: “Israeli police kill 3 alleged Palestinian attackers.”

Foreign Ministry spokesman Emmanuel Nachshon said the headline was “biased and dishonest,” and an example of “unparalleled chutzpa.” He said the ministry was working to “correct” the headline.

Two female Israeli Border Police officers were wounded by Palestinian terrorists who carried out the combined knife and shooting attack at Jerusalem’s Damascus Gate on Wednesday afternoon. Both of the officers were rushed to a Jerusalem hospital, with one fighting for her life and the other in serious condition. The three terrorists were shot and killed by Israeli security forces at the scene of the attack.
