8 Earthquakes Strike Along Iran-Iraq Border, Rattle Baghdad

The earthquakes all appeared to be aftershocks from November's disastrous temblor.

A woman is seen with her baby near a tent as a precaution during night at Darbandikhan district of Suleymaniyah after an earthquake measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale rocked northern Iraq and Iran on 13th of November 2017, in Suleymaniyah, Iraq on November 15, 2017. On January 11, 2018, eight earthquakes that appeared to be aftershocks of November's shook Iran and Iraq once again. Thanks to the damage caused by the November earthquake, many still live in tents or temporary shipping containers-style homes.
